Max sits in the back seat, pouting like a little baby. "Told you he'd come" I say with a grin on my face. "I only came because otherwise you wouldn't go out tonight" Max says grumpily. "Yeah well, tit for tat" I laugh. "How long are you guys playing for?" Max asks. Oh shit. "A few hours I think" Lando answers. "Mia!" Max yells in the back seat. "What?" Lando asks, almost getting a heart attack. "She told me it would take about half an hour!" he yells. I bite my lip, trying to hold back my laugh. "You're dumb for believing that" Lando laughs. "Yeah well.. she's very convincing" Max says, sighing very deep. "That she is" Lando agrees.

When we get to the golfing place, Charles gets the keys to the golf carts. He got three, because they would definitely be fighting about who can drive if he got less. Max quickly grabs a key, already a little happier he came. Lando takes the other one. "Wanna drive?" he asks, holding the key out in front of me. "Definitely not" I say as I shake my head. Charles and Carlos are still fighting about who can drive. But Charles is faster and already sits down at the driver's side. "Go slow" Carlos warns Charles. "I thought you guys liked to go fast" I laugh when I get in next to Lando. "Not when someone else is driving" Carlos says, holding on so tightly like he's afraid he's going to fall off. I roll my eyes, but can't help but laugh.

I moved over to Max his golf cart when the guys started to actually play. He's driving in figures, not able to just sit still. "How are you?" he asks after a moment of silence. "Good" I say. He looks at me with his eyebrows raised, like he doesn't really believe me. "It's true. I'm actually doing ok these days" I smile. "Good, that's good" Max says. "You'd tell me if things aren't going well, right?"

"Yes Max, i'll tell you" I say like a toddler who is being scolded. "Thank you for looking out for me" I force out. I don't like being vulnerable or whatever. Max doesn't answer, but smiles awkwardly. Guess he doesn't like it either. "How is Kelly? I haven't spoken with her in a while" I ask. "Good, she's very busy" Max says. He has a look on his face I can't quite explain. "Is she coming this weekend?" I ask. He nods. "Yeah, I think so" Max says. I get the idea he doesn't really want to talk about it so I shut up.

The guys play a few more holes before Max starts complaining he's hungry. We order at a kiosk, I get a chicken sandwich. It actually doesn't taste as bad as it looks. "Do you guys do this often? Golf when you have a little bit of time off?" I ask when we sit down at a picnic bench. "We try to, it's good to do some things that have nothing to do with racing" Carlos explains. I nod. Max his mood lightened up a bit when he got food. "Hmm" Max says, while taking another bite and scrolling on his phone. He is listening to something, it's too quiet to hear though. "Interesting" he says while he looks up, a smirk appears on his face. "What is?" Lando asks. "Apparently someone has filmed Mia while asking her questions" Max explains. "Ugh, it's probably that guy from last night. He was annoying" I respond. "What did he ask?" Lando looks curious. Lando tries to grab Max his phone, but Max quickly pulls it away. "The guy asked if Mia would ever get back with an ex" Max smiles. I roll my eyes and sigh. Of course that guy was going to post that.

"And?" Lando asks, now looking at me. I shrug my shoulders, not really feeling this conversation right now. Definitely not in front of Max, Carlos and Charles. "Well just listen" Max says as he turns his camera around. First you see me walking through security to get to the cars. Where you see Lando leaning against his car, waiting for me. "Would you ever get back together with an ex?" the guy asks, his camera pointing at me. I walk towards the car, but not before I quickly turn around to answer the guy. "Depends on the ex" I reply with a smile on my face. You see me walking towards Lando and then the camera shuts off.

I rub my hands over my forehead. Oh Mia, why do you always have such a big mouth? "Well, I think that certainly clears things up, since you don't have the best track record of ex'es" Charles jokes before Carlos slaps him in his stomach. I can't help but laugh a little. I feel Lando's eyes on me. I look up at him and he has a look on his face I can't really place. Something in between excitement, disbelief and confusion.

"I think it's time to go golfing again, don't you guys?" I say as I quickly stuff the rest of the sandwich in my mouth. "Relax! I haven't even started my second sandwich" Max says, looking almost angry when the rest of the guys also stand up. Max sighs. "Remind me to just stay at the hotel the next time you guys go golfing" Max says, walking after us like an angry teenager. I stick my tongue out to him. Max squints his eyes when he sees, making a funny face.
