Oh my gosh, I can't believe this is part 60 already. Thank you so so much for reading, I probably would have stopped by now if it wasn't for you! Enjoy!
I spent the rest of the morning just chilling with Max. He tried to teach me some Fifa, but turns out I'm terrible at it, so I can't play anymore. I did play the racing game. I was actually pretty decent at it. Max kept interfering and telling me all the things I should do different. I put some headphones on so I wouldn't hear him anymore. When I was finally done after a few hours Max sat down to race.
There's a knock on the door. Max has his headphones on, so he doesn't hear. I throw a pillow at his face.
"Ouch!" He looks surprised as he takes his headphones off. "What was that for?"
"There's someone at your door" I try to hold in my laugh, but his face is too funny. "So? What's wrong with your legs? Go open it" Max says as he puts his headphones back on. I sigh and walk to the door. I should really put some pants on.
"Hi" Lando says as I open the door. "Oh. Hi."
"Can I come in?" he asks.
"If you're here for Max, sure. If you're here for me. Then that's a no." I want to throw the door in his face, but Lando quickly puts his foot in-between the door. I sigh and quickly turn around.
"Wait, wait! Slow down" Lando says as I walk through the hallway. He grabs me by my arm. I pull my arm back. "I swear to god, if you touch me one more fucking time" I yell in his face. "I need to talk to you! You can't keep ignoring me." Lando goes with his hand through his hair, like he doesn't know what to do. "Lando, when I tell you, you are the last person I want to talk to right now, I mean it" I yell in his face.
"I know. I know you hate me right now. I know you're angry!"
"I'm not angry," tears stream down my face right now, "I am hurt and in pain. And you put me here! You!" I sigh. Trying to catch my breath. Lando takes a step back and leans against the wall. "The person I love the most. The person who's supposed to love me" I say, not even trying to stop crying.
"Please don't leave me" he says. I look at Lando, he looks absolutely crushed. He slides down to the ground, tears in his eyes.
"What's the point? We just keep hurting each other" I sigh. I sit down in front of him in the small hallway. Lando grabs my legs and pulls me closer to him, this time I let him.
"I know. I know what I did. What I said. And I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have. I love you so, so much" he stammers. God, I have never seen him like this. He always has his word ready. "I can't change the past. But I can promise you, I will never hurt you like that ever again."
"You can't promise that." He looks at me confused. "And neither can I. We'll probably keep hurting each other" I continue.
"How can you say that? It was one fight, Mia. Please don't do this."
I shake my head. Lando lets go of my leg and lays his arms down beside him. "I don't know what you want me to do" he rubs his hand over his forehead. "I think we should.." I don't get to finish my sentence.
"Do you love me?" Lando asks. I sigh. "That's not the point, Lando."
"No, that is the point" Lando argues. "It's not."
"It is! That is the point!"
"Lando, it's not the point."
"You didn't answer me" Lando says. He softly grabs my chin, making me look at him. "Yes, of course I love you." Lando keeps staring at me. "And when you love someone, you work it out. You have fights, some more then others. But you work it out. You don't just throw it away. You have to be careful. Because, this," he says while pointing at us, "we might never get again." Lando holds my hands tightly.
"I have to think. I can't fucking think when I'm around you."
"That's ok. I can do that. I can give you time. If time is what you need, I can do that. And I know what you've been through hasn't been easy, Mia. I know. But I also know that you have a habit of throwing things away once it gets a little hard. But I want you to keep fighting, for us, for yourself. Promise me that."
I nod. "Ok" I say.
"Ok" Lando sighs. He seems relieved.
"Holy fuck!" Max yells as he turns the corner. He sees us sitting too late and he stumbles over my feet. With a loud bang Max falls to the ground. Max is very quick and just barely catches himself with his hands. "Aahhhrg" he almost yells now.
"What the fuck are you guys doing sitting on the floor" Max says as he pushes himself of the ground. I try to hold in my laugh, but fail miserably. "Sorry" Lando says with a grin on his face. "You guys know I have a couch and chairs, right?" Max shakes his head as he walks off. "Yeah, sorry" I say while laughing. "Dumbasses" he mumbles.
"Can I pick you up tomorrow? Take you out to eat or something?" Lando asks. I bite my lip and take a deep breath. "Oh, that's right. Time." Lando says before I can answer. "I'll think about it. I will text you, ok?"
Lando nods and stands up. He grabs my hand and pulls me of the ground. He pulls me against him and wraps his arms around me. "I love you" he murmurs in my hair. "I know" I say as I wrap my arms around his waist. "Say it back" he says, letting me go slightly so he can look me in my eyes. I look at him and do the one thing I shouldn't do right now. Before I can stop myself I push my lips on his. Immediately Lando deepens the kiss. His tongue finding it's way to mine. His hand goes to my ass. "No pants, really? You know Max can probably see you're ass right?"
"Shus" I say while pushing my lips on his. Well, fuck it.
