They set out on their way, when they arrived at a place quite crowded with people, the inhabitants recognized the royal carriage and approached to greet the princess, it was always a blessing to be greeted by her. Lady Vilma waved her hand and smiled kindly to the citizens who approached to greet. After fifteen minutes, they had arrived at the place David had spoken of, as they got out of the carriage, Vilma saw a beautiful meadow around them covered with beautiful petunias that were a visual delight.

-Oh, my God, it's beautiful," Vilma exclaimed, and David knew from her tone of voice and her way of expressing it that she wasn't pretending, her astonishment was genuine, "how come I've never seen this place before?

-Maybe because you never come to the suburbs of the kingdom," said David, to which the princess replied looking at him with a frown?

-Suburbs of the kingdom, what do you mean, what do you mean?

-Well, you and your family never come down from your huge castle to contemplate the scenery hidden in the lower quarters.

-You mean that this beautiful place is in the suburbs? -Vilma wanted to know.

-Exactly," she answered.

-I am totally surprised, I never thought that such a beautiful place would be in the suburbs," she said.

-Well, you'd be surprised to know all that these villages hide inside, princess. Even if they are invisible to royalty, they usually have incredible and extremely amazing things if you look closely.

Vilma couldn't believe it, her parents since she was a child had always told her that the suburbs were ugly places, where unhappiness abounded and where the lowest styles of lives were palpable. However, that morning she thought that, although they didn't have much, materially speaking, they did have beautiful gifts from nature, such as that magnificent meadow, where she was at that moment.

-Will you take a picture of me in the meadow, David?

-Of course, your wish is my command," said David, and made the princess giggle.

Vilma smiled for the camera, while the sun was beating down on her face, luckily she had applied enough sunscreen.

-There, she looked beautiful," said David, as he handed the camera to Vilma, who blushed at David's words.

She looked at the picture; however, she felt she didn't like it very much, and preferred to erase it.

-Why did you erase it? -David wanted to know.

-I feel that, out of all this magnificent meadow, I'm the only one who doesn't fit in," said Vilma, sounding a bit discouraged.

-In fact, I was about to tell you the opposite, it's the meadow that doesn't fit your beauty," said David.

This last sentence made Vilma turn red as a tomato, why was all this happening to her with David, if he was only her chauffeur. Or was she beginning to feel more than just sympathy for him? "Rare are the ways of love," Vilma remembered reading that phrase in one of the many books in her father's library, and thought that maybe that phrase made more sense than she could understand on her own. Was she beginning to fall in love with David? He was a humble chauffeur, raised in the slums, where scarcity is palpable. But... did that matter at all? No, it didn't matter at all, she could fall in love with him and no one would claim anything from her, for it was her decision alone. However, she thought, she had left the castle to meet young bachelors who were willing to be tomorrow, literally, the ruler of Empress, a surprise that would make anyone fall to the ground with astonishment, and the truth is that it is not for less, Vilma thought.
