Dreams can be nice, but not when they're about you getting kicked by Lauren.

It wasn't my first dream involving her kicks and surely wouldn't be the last, but it was really annoying to wake up jumpy and in a cold sweat after having her break your jaw over and over again.

I was still by myself in the room, which meant that the pack wasn't back yet. Taking a look at my phone, I could see that it was half-past 2 am, so I decided to go to the kitchen to get some cold water after texting the werewolves, asking them for news.

I walked slowly, making sure not to produce any noise since I knew Troian was a light sleeper, but not like it would make any difference.

When I entered the kitchen, she was there and just about to open the fridge, and when she saw me I could tell she got a bit startled since her wide eyes gave her away.

Soon enough they were back to normal, and she finally opened the fridge and took out the water jar.

"Lauren?" She asked, pouring us both a cup of water.

"Liliana?" I took it from her hands and gave it a big gulp.

I knew that Troian also had those nightmares. It would be weird if she didn't have them. The big difference is that while Lauren loved to beat me up, Liliana felt the same but towards her.

They'd probably be happy if they knew the effect they had on both of us.

"Is Saria back already? It's been hours."

"Those meetings can be long," she sighed. "Also, depending on which dimension they go to, time passes differently. She'll probably come back in the morning."

"Should we go back to sleep?" I asked.

"Can we go back to sleep?"

I shrugged my shoulders before having an idea.

"Be right back," I said, going back to my dorm for a moment before returning with a couple of wine bottles that I stole from Mason.

If we were going to be up, having some fun couldn't hurt, right?

"I didn't see any drinks around so I wanted to make sure we had enough," I said, handing her a bottle. "Also, shouldn't we close that portal? Isn't it dangerous?"

"Only supernaturals can cross it, so it should be fine," she explained while opening the bottle. "Supernaturals and me, of course."

I hummed as we began to drink. I was pretty sure we were both lightweights, and it was soon confirmed.

"Do you think there are any chances Alice and Sinna will be together?" I slurred, almost finishing my bottle.

At this point, it looked like everything was spinning, but I could tell Troian was worse than I was.

"I don't doubt it," she said, already turning her bottle upside down now that it was empty. "They could even be mates but we wouldn't know."

"What do you mean?"

"Mates have to look at each other's eyes, but Sinna doesn't have them."

"Really?" I said and opened my mouth wide in shock. Probably way too wide.

"Yup, she uses a spell so she can see, and that's why she wears glasses all the time."

"What about the other sisters?"
