"Aides. I have a plan to prove to you and those judges... and everyone else that I am innocent" I intertwined my hand with his as we laid together on the lounge.

"Kore, you don't have to..." I knew he struggled with the admission. He said this now, but would never be content unless he knew my innocence.

"My plan will be harder dressed like this. I am not supposed to be here. Remember I was banished by you" He turned red before pushing a palm to his lip to think.

"I think I have something that could aid you" He let my hand go before walking to the door and calling for a servant.

"Retrieve my Helm of invisibility." The servant grunted and closed the door.

"Helm of invisibility?" I sit up straight with curiosity, looking into his eyes.

He nodded. "It was forged by Elder Cyclopses after the War of Titans. The Cyclops gave the thunderbolt to Zeus, the trident to Poseidon, and I received the Helm of Darkness."

I think he knew by my expression that I was excited. How couldn't I be? A helmet that rendered those who wore it invisible? Aides somehow took relish in my juvenile excitement.

There was another knock on the door and Aides stepped to open it. "See to it that this stays exchange stays between us" He whispers to the demon. The servant bows and leaves, leaving Aides and us alone.

"Come," he says, holding the helm in his hand. I try not to skip to meet him just as he commands me. I did not want to look too eager.

He pulled me in front of the mirror and placed it atop my head. I watched my figure curiously as it vanished from the reflection of the mirror.

"I am gone!" I gasped, amazed by the trick of the eye. I jump up excitedly, running around him. He had no clue where I was.

"I can still hear you Kore." he smirked, crossing his arms against his chest. I tap his shoulder and he looks to that side. I tap the other and he chuckles.

"You really can't see me?" I ask, there was fascination in my voice. He shook his head no. I waved my hand in front of his face, seeing if he was bluffing. In an instant, he grabs my wrists and stares into my eyes, or where he thought my eyes would be.

"I can still sense you though. Your spirit...your energy and aura" He whispers, pulling my wrist to his lips to kiss it. I smile and wrap my arms around his neck, moving to kiss his lips.

Blindnessly, his hands moved, searching to grip my waist. I guided his hands to my waist and one to my posterior, making sure he lingered it there.

"Have you ever..."

"No" he smirked, reading my mind full of vulgarity, "You would be the first..wearing the helm"

I giggled and my cheeks warmed. "Imagine if someone walked in on us?" I smirked, engulfing his lips once more.

He let out a lazy chuckle but shrugged. "I would have them killed" he gripped my waist tighter, excited by my cloak of mystery. He carried me to the lounge chair, allowing me to fall on top of him. We kiss for many more minutes before I take off the helmet.

He breaks and leans his head back, sad we couldn't continue our little rendevous. But trust and believe, there would be plenty of time for that after the completion of my plan.

"So what's the plan?"

"It is a secret?" He sighs. I nodded.

"But when the officiant asks: "Is there anyone who objects? Speak now or forever hold your peace" I will signal the three fates"

"How?"

"I will...figure it out. As for you." I lift a palm to smooth his jet-black hair. "You must act like is if we had never seen each other"

He nodded and pretended to look more solemn.

"Not convincing. It looks as if you have a new sense of hope Aides"

He smirked and pretended to pout again.

"No!" I giggle, contorting his lips with my fingers. "Like that. And don't smile, it's too suspicious!" He freezes his frown and looks at me for approval. I giggled and nodded. "Perfect"

He pulled my waist tight before snatching me into his lips once more. "I missed you Kore"

"I did too...so much Aides" I whispered. We continued kissing passionately until there was a knock at the door.
It was almost by instinct he lifted me and led me to the wardrobe. "Hide" His voice was prompt.

"Aides!" I waved, holding up the helm. A look of realization coated his eyes before nodding.

"Remember the plan okay?" I tell him. He kissed me again and nodded. "And be on the lookout for the three fates and my signal" I tried to put on the helm but he stopped me. "Aides" I frown, snapping my head as the knock on the door sounded again.

"Just one more look at you." He whispered before he kissed me repeatedly.

"Be safe" he warns. He kissed my forehead one last time before lifting the helm to my crown.

"Come in!" He yells. He walks to the mirror, pretending to be preoccupied with his body of armor.
