KYRA's POV
I woke up to Mitch shaking my shoulder. "What?" I groaned.
"Start getting ready," he said, "We are going to be at our concert venue in an hour."
"Oh. My. Gosh. Seriously?" I said, amazed.
"Yep, now get ready," He said, "You can have Kirstie do your hair."
I got up, took a shower, and got dressed. Kirstie did my hair in a braid crown. By the time I had my makeup on we were approaching the venue. I looked out the window and saw bunches of screaming girls.
"Guys," Scott said, "How are we going to keep Kyra hidden?"
"Here," Avi said, throwing me an oversized sweatshirt, "Put this on. We can all walk in a huddle around her, so they won't see her. Even if they do see her, they couldn't tell who she was."
"If she walks behind us with Esther and the crew, they might think that she is part of the crew," Kirstie said.
"I'll walk with the crew," I said.
"Just meet me in my dressing room," Kirstie said.
Dad and the rest of PTX walked off the bus. They were all signing autographs and taking pictures. About 3 minutes after they got off I got off with the rest of the crew. I was kind of freaking out with all of the people around, so I held Esther's hand. To my surprise she held mine back.
We finally got inside and I went to Kirstie's dressing room. "Crazy, huh?" She said.
"There are so many of them!" I said, "What time does the show start?"
"7:30," she said, "So that gives us about an hour."
"When do I come on?" I asked.
"After your dad does his cello medley," she said, "He will come backstage and put his cello away. By then you should be waiting for your que."
"What will my que be?" I asked.
"You will know it when it happens," she said, "Come on! It is time for sound check."
We went through sound check and over the schedule for the concert. I was so excited and nervous. Nervocited I guess you could call it. It was five minutes till show time. I peeked out from behind the curtains and I saw that every seat in the whole theatre was full. I walked back to where my family was. Mitch was just about to start Problem.
"Good luck guys!" I said, "I love you!"
"Love you, too!" Dad said, then the concert started.
