She woke up with the light of the morning shining through her window, the rays of the sun almost looked blue because of the cold that eternally raged in the Winter Court, thankfully it was not as cold inside the crystallized castle or she was sure that even with her magic she would have freezed to death.

She knew she had to get up at one moment of the morning and face reality. Her room was her safe place, her escapism, she feels secure here; Even though her room is decorated with the same theme and sometimes boring shades of blue as other rooms in the castle  she has added her own knickknacks from other courts she has visited; Kallista has visited almost all of them with the exception of the Night Court, she sometimes wonders if her family does not like the High lord that much. She knows about the whispers of the Night court, a place full of monsters and cruel fae.

But still, she wanted to go.

Her favorite piece is definitely a wooden carved sun that Helion gave to her in one of her many visits to the Day court. Kallista could tell you everything about the High lord of Day, they were best friends after all, an agreement made when they were still children and after a very long High lord meeting in which they were both obliged to go by their parents; going back to the point, they knew each other like the palm of their hand, she knows his favorite hobbie is reading  and then subject Kallista to hours of him rambling about it - not that she doesn't enjoy it- , how he has an amazing fashion sense and helps her choose the most georgeous of dresses, how he likes taking strolls in his beautiful gardens full of exotic plants from both the human and fae realm, but Kallista can also tell you how his eyes would brighten a fraction but sadden immensenly at the mention of a certain Lady of Autumn.

Finally mustering enough energy to get off bed, Kallista makes her way to her connected connected bathroom to the left of her room.

The room had a circular form, the walls made of turquoise heavy crystal, a bathtub that sits in the middle of the room is big enough to fit three people comfortably in it, in the far end of the room is the beautiful marble crafted sink with a big mirror decorated with metal snowflakes.

She goes and turns on the water on in the bathtub, while the tub is filling Kallista approaches the big mirror, she has heard many people tell her she was the most beautiful woman in the whole Prythian, with milky white skin, deep blue sapphire eyes and her charachteristic white hair that curled at her waist. She knows she is beautiful but she also knows for sure that she is not the most beautiful woman, all woman are beautiful in their own way.

Kallista removes her white cotton nightdress and undergarments leaving her bare in the cold air, she instantly goes into the already filled tub sighing at the steaming water against her skin.

While soaking in the water, she thinks about a strange dream she got the night before, it was shadows. She was in the middle of the of the dark emptiness but the dark and the shadows weren't frightening, they were comforting and the shadows where whispering all around her, she couldn't tell what they were saying but she could hear a sweet and soft harmony like golden shine, then the sound of wings fluttering filled her ears, trying to decipher where the sound was coming from she turns around only to be faced with hazel eyes and then she wakes up.

Kallista always had dreams like this but not the same dream that many times, she has discussed it with her brother and he told her maybe there are premonitions of something important, but of what?
