Even though the last few days had been busy with Kallista practicing with her new powers and Azriel with his duties as Spymaster, they made time to be together, if it was only a few minutes at night.
She had realized they had lost so many time due to miscommunication, and they tried to gain it back, obviously nothing could bring vasco the last fifty years, but they were made of magic time did not matter to them.
"I really wish you could go with us to the mountains" Azriel said one night when they sat in front of the fire.
"I would, but I want to see Feyre when my powers are under control, I don't know what will happen otherwise" she turned into his arms from between his legs, her blue dress contrasting with his black leathers. "Besides, aren't you going directly to the human lands after the mountains?"
"Right, but I think you would like the view of the mountains, it looks very close like the Winter Court"
"But-"
"Of course, not as beautiful but a very close second" he completed what she was going to say knowing of her proudness for her court. "You would not like the people there though, they are the real scary stories of Illyrians"
"I think I could take them" she shrugged turning and leaning back as she was before.
"Of course you could" he smiled at the thought of her fighting winged illyrians three times her size. "What are you going to do while we are gone?"
"Rhysand told me to train with Amren when he's not here, I think Amren would be a tougher teacher"
"I think she likes you, so she's going to make things hard for you in practice"
"Good, I don't like when people make it easy for me" Kallista said shortly, there was a peaceful silence until she spoke again. "Do you want to go somewhere before you leave? I know you are going to be gone for some days but still"
"I think I have an idea"

Night Court's beach was beautiful, the only beaches she had ever go to where in the summer court and they were mesmerizing, but they was just something about the Night Court's one, it felt unique for some reason.
Azriel had brought her to a secluded part of the beach where you could only enter if you passed through a series of caves.
The air was cold, but that was not a problem for either of them as they took off their clothes. Kallista went into the water first and submerged before coming back out and slicking back her pale hair.
She was swimming around the water when she felt a grip around her waist, she smiled at the familiar arms of Azriel.
The pale girl turned around to face him but as she did a glint on his neck made her look down.
There was a leather necklace with a blue rock hanging from it. Her memory was a bit hazy but she felt like she had seen it before.
"You don't remember?" He asked taking one of his hands off her waist and holding the rock. "You gave it to me, we were at the lake and you found it deep into the water and said that you wanted me to remember you by something"
"I thought you would've lost it by now" she said astounded, Azriel has been surprising her more and more lately.
"Why would you think that? I only ever took it off when the leather became old, but I would replace it almost instantly"
This man was going to be the death of her. He truly thought of her every single day for those fifty years. She kissed him in the beach, their lips tasted salty.

"Mhm, your powers are unlike anything I have seen before" Amren narrowed her silver eyes as if she had done something she shouldn't have.
"Does that mean you can't help me?" Kallista asked.
"Of course I can help you, it's just going to be a bit more difficult to figure out" the woman shrugged, as she walked around the mat in the training area. "Alright, hit me"
"What? I don't want to hit you"
"Hit me or are you too scared?" The woman tilted her head in question. Kallista bit her lip in hesitation. Amren rose a brow while she waited for the pale girl to made up her mind, finally Kallista put her hands together and separated them slowly as a ball of light created between them, and then threw to Amren. The force of the small ball only made her stumble a bit.
"Is that really all you got?" The woman straightened and brushed the invisible dust from her clothes. "Come on, again, stronger"
The princess repeated her actions, and it was only the same.
"Somehow I thought you would be stronger, or are you only weak, Kallista?" The princess frowned at her instructor not grasping at Amren's idea. "Maybe that's what Amarantha thought when she locked you up" the white haired woman flinched at the name and her hands seemed to twitch with blue sparkles. "What all of them thought when you finally got free, didn't your brother think so, too?"
"I don't want to train anymore" More sparks came out of her hands and her eyes seemed to shine a brighter blue only to go back to their color once again. She was about to walk away when the smaller woman spoke again.
"Or maybe that's what Azriel thought and that's why he left-"
"I said silence!" A wave of energy came out of her, she didn't even move a muscle and yet Amren was pushed backwards so harshly she almost fell of the training area to the nothingness.
"I knew you had it there" Amren muttered unfazed by the hot she had just suffered, the woman was smirking while Kallista seemed to be in despair of it all. "You just need a little push"
"A little push?" The princess repeated Amren with an unbelievable look in her eyes. "That was way out of line and I will not stand by it"
"Unfortunately, dear Princess, we need every push we need for the upcoming war and you are nowhere near ready for what coming"
