In the deepest cell in under the mountain a lost princess habited. Lost in the sea of darkness that the minuscule room had, a small piercing blue light shined in one of the corners.

The light reflected in cold blue eyes swirling with bright pieces of blue, the rest of her face obscured by heavy metal hiding the beautiful factions of her face.

A curse, she had called her face the last years because of it, the mask that burned her skin was placed in from the only reason of being called beautiful.

According to the amount of times shadows of feet had passed below the door it was almost time for her food- or as she like to call it her daily beating.

Standing up slowly she faced one of the dirty walls in the cell, exhaling softly, looking for balance in her body and muttering a quick prayer she turned around hearing the lock opening.

Instantly two dark fairies entered the cell one at each side of her, with fast movements she kicked one in the stomach the air in his lungs diminishing, while the other one was trying to breath she tried to slash the other with her dagger but he took a step back avoiding the sharp point.

He charged at her  but she stepped aside the last second making him stumbled towards her other opponent.

They both stood up rather clumsily and she sighed tiredly, one of their claws came at her face but she kneeled and managed to swat at his legs making tumble to the floor once more, in quick movements her dagger was on his heart, she heard the other one nearing behind her.

She turned skillfully and the creature stopped feeling the pointy end of her dagger against his throat.

"Give me my food, get this out of my cell and leave" Kallista commanded her eyes shinning bright blue while the creature trembled.

The creature quickly said as commanded and left, his companion behind ragged on the floor out.

She sat in the same corner she was before they entered and nibbled on the hard bread.
Fighting was tiring, but fighting with a heavy iron mask on her face was even more but she managed, she grew used to the extra weight on her head.

At first the beating were bad, one everyday for her fragile and grieving body for years until finally she realized that no one was going to come to save her, so she took the decision of fighting back.

At first it was painful but as the years passed she learned more and more, with help of her previous training, even though if she was good before, she was nothing compare to hundreds of heavy beasts with claws for hands the size of her head.
