Days passed and along those days Kallista became friends with Feyre. At first the human was skeptical of her, but when she realized that she was no threat to her she relaxed. Although she was still afraid every time they dragged dead guards out of her cell.
But Feyre was happy to have at least a kind soul in this prision, someone to keep her sane while she was waiting for the first trial.
"Tell me Feyre, were you only able to visit Spring?" Kallista questioned.
"Yes, it was very beautiful" Feyre answered with a saddened grin.
"If you think Spring is beautiful just wait and see the rest of the courts" Kallista explained having a faint memory of her home.
"What court are you from?" Feyre questioned her voice tired.
"Winter, and I have to say, it is one of the most beautiful of all of them" The princess responded "All you can see around you is beautiful fallen snow, buildings made of ice, big mountains that can rival the ones in the Night court"
Feyre tensed at the mention at the mention of the Night Court remembering their brief meeting in the Spring Manor.
"Do you know anything about the Night Court?" The human asked with curiosity and furrowed eyebrows.
This time it was Kallista's time to tense, remembering golden eyes and membrane wings, she used to feel sad every time she remembered Azriel but now the only thing she felt towards him was hot burning anger, the type of anger that burns at your heart and acids your stomach.
"No" Kallista stood up from the corner of her cell and grabbed her bread in her hands "But I do know that you are starving so here"
She threw the bread through her small window to hers. Feyre jumped when bread fell from the window of her cell.
"Singer you don't have to give me your food" Feyre stated looking longingly at the piece of bread.
"Don't be silly Feyre, you are human and you haven't eaten in mother knows when, just take it" Kallista's insisted.
"But won't you be hungry?"
"I've been hungry for 49 years, I think I can manage another day"

More days passed and Feyre was already taken once to the throne room, apparently Amarantha has finally given her the riddle that could free the entirety of Prythian.
Kallista had already figured the answer but everytime she tried to tell Feyre her mouth would magically stop or the words wouldn't come out.
It was one of Amarantha's many tricks, once again she managed to think about everything.
Kallista kept giving Feyre half of her food, but not entirely for selfless reasons, she wanted Feyre to eat and for her health to go stronger so she could actually have a shot at beating Amarantha.
All of this gave her a very dangerous feeling, Hope.
Something she hasn't felt since her child was killed and she was imprisoned, and all of her dreams shattered at the palm of Amarantha's hand.
However as the whispers warned her that guards were coming there way a vision invaded her mind once more but this time it wasn't from the whispers.
She saw a pit, mud, a plataform, bones and a very big worm. That if she was correct went by the name of Middengard Wyrm, a huge beast that lives in mud pits just like she saw in the vision, although what stood to her was the bones, why would her vision show her bones?
She waited for the vision to show her something more, a clue on how Feyre could survive this monster, until it finally showed her a big hole and broken bones.
The princess got out of her dazed just as the guards pulled Feyre out of her cell. As fast as she could she got up and run to the small window, using her hands and standing in her toes to see better.
"The bones Feyre! Use the bones!" She shouted at her as they took her and Feyre looked back at her one last time with a terrified look before her silhouette and the guards disappeared around the corner.
She slides down to the floor with her back to the door and this time- this time Kallista hoped Feyre would come back.

It was an hour or two that passed when the whispers told her that people were coming to the cell. She looked outside quickly and released a large breath at seeing Feyre but her face turned into a frown when she saw her unconscious and her arm dripping with blood.
When the basically thrower her to her cell and left Kallista was still looking at the close door in front of her. If her arm didn't get cleaned it will get infected and if she gets sick the freezing cold will be of no help.
So she did the last thing at her favor, she will use her magic.
It won't cure her but it will give her enough strength and keep her warm until somehow her arm gets better.
Fuere couldn't die, because if she died Kallista would be left here to rot for the rest of her days and the hope of seeing her family and friends again would be lost. Oh how Kallista longed to see her brothers face again, to hear Helion's jokes, to hear Vivianne's encouragement speeches and to ride once again through the frozen forest with Opal.
Even if Kallista didn't admit it she also worried about Feyre as a friend, she was the first person that didn't want to hurt or kill her. Feyre received her even if she was hurt and starving.
So exhaling a deep breath she closed her eyes and allowed her magic to flow out of her, tendrils of blue energy came out of her hands. Slowly the blue magic moved towards Feyre cell illuminating the hall and the cell with a blue light, surrounding the body of the human girl like a warm blanket, the blue energy melting in Feyre's skin putting the bit of her magic left in her.
Kallista dropped to the ground feeling herself drained of everything, staring at the ceiling in the dark feeling empty, she was always aware of the mask covering her face however when she lays down in the floor she can actually feel the cold metal burning at her skin.
And she cannot wait to see Amarantha's head on a stick.
