Rhysand was brooding. He didn't know how to solve this and he didn't know what to do to decipher it.

Star fall was a few days ago and they were back from another visit from the bone carver which did not give any information no matter the bones, he was sure they were about to cave in, but then something glinted in his eyes refusing, and telling them the same sentence he had tell them the last time.

"Bring me the chosen one born on the warmest day and I'll tell you everything you want to know, high lord"

The only other detail about this person that they have managed to snatch from the bone carver just earlier was that, the mysterious chosen one was a high fae.

He summoned his inner circle to the town house to find out who this person was before their time runs out. Amren was nowhere near to traducing the whole book of breathings and three blood rubies had arrived some days ago, they were in definite need of the bone carver.

They were all sitting in the living room when he spoke.

"The bone carver gave us, another clue of who this person is, is not much but it does shorten our search for a lot" he announced to his family. "Apparently we need to look for a high fae born on the warmest day"

"It's still a lot of people, Rhysand" Morrigan interjected.

"No, listen, on the warmest day, we just need to start looking there, when was this day? How many years ago? And when we have the date, then with help of Azriel's spies we'll look into the courts" Rhysand finished, and everyone looked at him like he had grown another head.

"You make it sound way easier than it is, Rhysand" Feyre said back. "How are we even supposed to know when the 'warmest day was'?"

"Well, Feyre darling, I remind you we have multiple libraries in Velaris" he stood up from his armchair and multiple groans were heard, the noisiest being Cassian. "Stop the whining, it's only some hours until we found the information we need"

"Yeah, Cassian your brain won't get any bigger from a few hours in the library" Mor said to the commander. He was about to reply when Amren talked.

"There's no need for a library" Amren said from her seat. "I remember that day"

All of the inner circle turned to look at her, even the shadowsinger in the corner of the room.

"Yes, something changed in Prythian that day, like the magic shifted to make room for something bigger" Amren started and everyone sat back down curious about her words "You were all alive- well except for Feyre- the warmth didn't hit Velaris like the other courts since it was well protected, but I heard the catastrophe in other courts. The summer and day court, didn't suffer as much since they already live in heat, half of the woods in Autumn burned down but the worst was in the ice court"

Rhysand snuck a glance at Azriel to see him deeply concentrated in Amren's turn of events. The inner circle was always careful to not mention the ice court around him.

"Their mountains starting melting creating snow slides and just as the mountains started melting, the capital did too. But that same day, the lady of Winter's water broke" she finished, and silence reigned the room. "They say even the animals of the court went to see the beautiful child that was born on the warmest day"

And now almost all of the attention was on Azriel whose shadows started to move quickly around him whispering unrecognizable words.

"At least now we know who it is" Cassian broke the awkward silence with an awkward grin.

"Who is it?" Feyre asked, she did not know who they were talking about or why were they all looking at Azriel.

"The recently exiled princess of the ice Court" Rhysand announced.

The shadowsinger's face was unfazed but internally he flinched at the words. He of course asked Rhysand about her some days after he came back, and his answer didn't really gave him the peace he wanted.

He wanted to visit her, mother, he wanted to so much. But there was a lot of things impeding him, he didn't wanted to make it worst for her if he suddenly showed up. He didn't wanted to interfere with her obviously deserved healing.

"We'll need to talk to her" Rhysand explained looking at Azriel here and there.

"Do we even know where she is?" Mor asked.

"Yes, we do. I talked with Helion momentarily in the summer court, and he let it slipped that he stayed in the High Lord's vacation manor, it's wildly known that since the High Lord exiled his sister, he hasn't had any communication with him, so who else is he visiting in that vacation manor?" Rhysand explained and everyone nodded in understanding.

"I'm not going, I have to work on the book of breathings" Amren said standing up from her chair.

"I'm not either, I want to make sure Amren eats and I wanted check on something in Velaris" Feyre added, when Rhysand looked at her in question.

"Right, so me, Cassian, Azriel and Mor are going to the Winter Court tomorrow, be ready" Rhysand sighed.

"I hope the mother has mercy on your souls" Amren interjected walking to the door.

"Why would the mother have mercy on our souls?" Cassian asks with a slight tint of panic to his voice.

"Well someone just doesn't get the title of 'fairy slayer' because of their good deeds" Amren said and left the room.
