She came out of her room at lunch time, she heard from some maids that the Night Court visits where at lunch.

Yes, she was avoiding them. She didn't desire to see them, not yet at least.

So, she went to the city, Helion was probably going to be around Tarquin for a while talking politics, a topic she didn't especially cared about.

Kallista walked through the city, enjoying the sight of the beautiful city. She stopped at various libraries, and asked about ancient books, they all led her to their sections, but there was not metal bound whispering book in any of them.

The princess also passed through the once destroyed building, her lips turned up when she saw it now restored.

She bought some small gifts from beautiful small shops, a beautiful golden embroided shirt for Helion and a tan leather sheat for Eris's sword.

The sun was setting when she came back from the city, her skin sticky and her shoes almost full of sand. It was the most normal day she has had in a while.

The princess left her things in her room in the suite. A maid had brought her lunch to the balcony by her request in the morning.

So as she enjoyed her lemon roasted chicken she gazed down into the paro are luncheon of the High Lord of Summer and Night.

At one moment the High Lord of Night felt eyes on him, he frowned and turned not seeing anyone, but he kept feeling a gaze on his back, finally his eyes found Kallista in a balcony far up.

She tilted her head at him, and Rhysand nodded in acknowledgment. She stood up and went inside her room, not wanting to be in his gaze any longer.

Some hours later someone knocked on the door as she was reading a book in an armchair in the lounge.

"Come in" she announced not moving her eyes from her book assuming that it'll be Helion.

"Kallista" She looked up to find Rhysand standing at the frame of the door.

"Rhysand, I did not expected you here" she closed the book and stood up from her chair.

"Well I didn't expected to see you either, yet here you are" he moved further into the room closing the door behind him.

"Helion invited me, if that's what you were wondering" she said, Rhysand kept quiet for some seconds only looking around the room in silence "what are you really here for, Rhysand? I'm sure it's not just to check on me"

"I need your help"

"You always do" she replied and crossed her arms. He rolled her eyes lightly before sitting in one of the chairs.
