"Kallista I'm so SO sorry, it was all my fault and-" Kallias entered the room in which his sister was rambling about the incident being his fault.
"Kallias, Kallias calm down" His sister interrupted his rambling "It was not your fault the ice was too thin" Kallista explained smiling at him warmly.
"Yeah but if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have even gone there" Kallias said still cursing himself.
"Look it was no one fault, it was..." Kallista tried to think of something "the mother's will"
"Wait 'till Helion hears about this" Her brother muttered.
"He's probably going to yell at me for this"
"He's going to yell at me, I can't wait to my ears to bleed" He sarcastically stated.
"Oh, he is not that bad"
"He is not that bad, remember the time you fell off the stairs because you weren't looking and he yelled at me because he thought it was my fault" He explained.
"Well he's just protective, leave him alone"
"Yeah, yeah" He rolled his eyes, Kallias wasn't mad at Helion actually he was always pretty grateful for him, he liked that his sister had someone that could also protect her.
"How's father?" Kallista questioned standing from the bed slowly.
"He's okay, he was quite scared like everyone, but after Joni told us that you were fine it was a relief, but he had to leave and said to tell you sorry that he's not here, he loves you and see you later" The prince explained.
"Why did he have to leave?" She asked, Kallista knew it had to be important he wouldn't just leave like that, she knew her father.
"Something about Amarantha, you know how all the high lords are suspicious of her, being from Hybern and all"
"Well who wouldn't be, with her watching over all the courts like she's planning something"
"We can't know for sure, let's leave it to the actual rulers though" he said shrugging.
"Do you think they moved the meeting?"
"Probably it seemed pretty serious"
Someone opened the door and Kallista closed her eyes and waited for the hellfire that will probably rain on her if it was Alara and saw her standing up, but when nothing came she opned her eyes to see Vivianne on the doorframe. Kallista sighed in relief.
"Good Morning Vivianne" Kallista greeted.
"Good Morning Kalli, are you feeling better?" Vivianne asked while coming in the room and closing the door behind her.
"Way better, thank you, Kallias was just helping move around" Kallista replied with a smile.
"Well that's kind of him, he usually never gives a rats ass" Vivianne said while looking directly at Kallias, and Kallista tried to hide her smile.
"that's not true, I always help you"
"Yeah, because I have to bribe you to actually do something for me" She rolled her eyes jokingly.
"Uh what kind of bribing?" Kallista said while her eyebrows move suggestively. Both Kallias and Vivianne flushed and started to deny everything.
"Oh come on Kallias you-" Kallista was interrupted when Kallias let her arm go causing for her to fall to the ground with a thud.
"Ouch! You fool!" Kallista complained while Vivianne helped her up snickering.
"Sorry, Kalli you knew I had to"
"Piss off, Vivianne dear would you help me to my bed?" Vivianne helped her back into her bed after her muscles started aching.
"Whatever, I'm going to the stables would you like to go? If you can walk" Kallias asked her sister, Kallista groaned and started to cover her body with the bedding.
"No, you are comig with me Miss 'I don't want to be useless'" Kallias estated while pulling the covers off her bed.
"Fine, fine let me change" Kallista stood up and went inside her closet, and chose to wear a dark blue silk coat lined with white fur her riding dress and boots. She went to her vanity and started braidng her hair, when she finished she walked out of her room where Kallias and Vivianne where also waiting already with their riding clothes.
"Just saying if Alara comes for you i'm not going to stop her" Kallista stated while looking towards her brother.
"I'll deal with her fury later, coe on" Kallias responded while pulling her and Vivianne towards the stables.

The royal stables didn't only hold horses but all kind of different magical creatures. Her favorite was her Velpa a winter creauture with fur as white as her own hair. She has heard stable boys saying that it looks like a fox in the human realm but way bigger, because her Velpa was the size of a horse. When they arrive the princess went directly to where her Velpa slept.
"Hello, my lovely Opal" Kallista said softly not wanting to startled her while opening the door of where she was laying.
Opal was gifted to her by her parents when she was 10 winters of age, his father found her in the cold woods alone and decided not to leave the poor creature to fend for itself. Kallista was in awe of her when she first saw the Velpa, and promise to forever be with her. Opal used to sleep in Kallistas room-when she was still dog size- but when she started growing more and more she had to go to the stables. Kallista still visits her everyday though.
Opal moves towards her and stars nuzzling her hand with her black snout signaling for Kallista to pet her, Kallista starts to pet her feeling her soft pale hair between her fingers.
"I missed you so much" She whispered while moving to hug her neck. "Now let's saddle you, alright?" She said smiling to her. Opal grunted and let her body fall to the floor.
"Oh come on, Opal don't start, you can't just sleep all day" Kallista complained while grabbing Opals sadle in her hands. Opal grunted again and stood up at the same time Kallista moved to put Opals sadle on. When she finished she lead the animal outside by her brown leather reins, Kallias was already there with his big polar bear and Vivianne with her strong reindeer.
"You are here, finally" Kallias said grinning.
"What took you so long?" Vivianne asked pleasently.
"Opal didn't want to get up" Kallista said while raising an eyebrow towards her Vulpa.
"Well Oscar would never, right Oscar?" Kallias stated while petting his polar bear.
"Whatever at least she doesn't poop while walking" Kalli snickered with Vivianne.
