After her bath in her crystal bathroom, she went to her closet filled with a disarray of dresses most of them of the representative blue color.

She chose a simple silky deep blue dress, not what she would always wear, but she wasn't going anywhere important today.

There was a knock on the door of her room and then the click of the door being opened, Kallista went out of her closet to see her handmaiden and one of her bestfriends, Alara.

"Good morning, Princess" Alara said dragging the last word.

"Good Morning" Kallista smiled and then scrunched her nose at the last term, it's not that she dislikes being a princess but she hates formalities, especially with close friends.

"what are we going to do today?" The princess sighed happily

"Well first you are going to breakfast with your family, they are already waiting for you" Alara said while she put her arm through the crook of Kallista's elbow and walked out of the room. "Then we can do whatever you want, that's if your father doesn't already have something planned".

They walked happily through the cold halls of the crystal castle, while maintaining light-hearted banter. They arrived at the two big white doors that signified the dinner room. two guards opened the heavy doors to let the princess enter, while Alara stepped aside. Kallista entered the room with all the grace a princess should have, her chin held high and her steps light like a feather, Kallista is thankful for all the ettiquete classes her mother made her take.

The room was large and blue like everything here , there was a enormous sharp glass table above it layed a light blue train with silver embroidered detailing, seven chairs in each side of the table and one chair in each head, her father sitting in the far end of the table and her brother at the right of him, Kallista walked to her place at the left of her father.

"Good morning, father" Kallista said while sitting in the pillowed chair.

"Good morning, dear daughter" The high lord smiled to the princess, Kallista was the High Lords treasure, she was protected and spoiled by him any chance he could.

"What, no good morning to your big brother" added Kallias smirking towards her sister

"No, no to you" Kallista narrowed her eyes towards her brother, Kallias thought it was a great idea to jokingly throw a bag of flour at her after she just finished showering and of course lovely Vivianne helped him do this atrocious act.

"Oh come on Kallista, it was funny" Kallias laughed, Kallista loves her brother but sometimes he can be, to be blunt, a pain in the ass.

"Well you weren't the one that had to bath again after just bathing" She muttered while her brother kept laughing.

"But it was funny, you should have seen your face" The prince jested. He was annoying must of the time but that's how brother's were, he was kind above else well to her, she could not talk for the rest of the fae.

Kallista didn't answered just turned her head to ignore her brother. After a couple of seconds Kallias started talking.

"Kallistaaaaaa" Kallias dragged the word, he sighed "Kallista do you forgive me for throwing a bag of flour at you?"

"You what?" The high lord asked while trying to keep his laugh in, He was always amused by his children and everything they did, it brought him joy to know that his children where happy and that he can protect them from the harshness of this cruel world but sooner or later they are going to fly out of the nest and maybe be shot down off the sky. No. he can't think like this he has to let them make his own decisions and let them learn.

"Why are you laughing?!" Kallista turned to her dad with her mouth opened with indignity

"Wha- I am not" Her father bluffed, Kallista groaned in annoyance and hid her face in her hands while muttering incoherence and her family laughed

"Forgive me please, you know you love me" Kallias smiled at Kallista, She slowly turned her head to look at him with an icy glare that would make any man tremble, Kallias laughed nervously "Please?" he squeaked

"okay" Kallista sighed while trying to keep her smile that was growing in her face.

"mhm is that a smile i'm seeing in your face" Kallias taunted

"No"

"Yes there is" Kallias pointed to her. "Come on, please ill take you skating" Kallista finally breaks after his offer. This is one of her favorite moments the careless and innocent laughter with her family when they are not in front of the public eye and have to keep warm memories to themselves.

"Im hungry, who wants to eat?" Her dad says and with a flick of his wrist food appears in front of them, leaving a bit of icee blue energy signifying the usage of her father's powers. The three of them immediatly started eating, Kallista grabbing eggs and bacon.

"Children, there's a High lord meeting in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" their father questioned. Kallias looked up with food still hanging from his mouth.

"Yeah, of course" Kallias replied at the same time trying to swallow his food while Kallista scrunches her nose disgusted by her brother's anthics. The high lord turns to look at her daughter waiting for her response.

"Of couse father, you know I always go" Kallista replied with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, yeah, to see Helion" Kallias added

"As if you aren't the same with Vivianne" Kallista retorted with a smug face.

"At least I'm not always with her" Kallias narrowed his eyes

"Ah yeah you are too busy daydreaming about snogging her" replied Kallista with a mock surprise and then doing kisses in the air while their father laughed. Kallias with wide eyes launches food towards her sister, the food landing in Kallistas hair.

"Kallias!" She gasped
