Far away from the protesting village, Zuko and I set up camp in a cave next to a river. We ate the food Sela gave us. At first, we didn't want to eat it but we were sick of always eating fish. While eating I realised that Zuko was deep in thoughts. "Are you alright?" He looked up at me, nodded then back down picking his food in the bowl.
He's not fine.
I placed my bowl down then crawled next to him. I took his bowl from his hands, placed it down then hugged him.
Zuko's POV
I hugged her back. "Don't let the words from those villagers get to you. Everytime they're seeing a firebender they say that he is bad. But some firebenders aren't bad. Just because you're the Firelord's son doesn't mean that you are bad.", she said. I nodded.
I need to tell her!
"(Y/N)?" "Yes, Zuko?" "I want to say thank you for being here with me." "You're welcome. I will never leave you." "I want to say something else but I don't know how." "Maybe you can show it." I nodded. "Close your eyes." She did it.
Well here goes nothing!"
I leaned in. When my lips nearly touched hers, the sound of a machine was heard. "What was that?", (Y/N) asked. "Let's find out!"
(Y/N) POV
We packed up and climbed on the ostrich following the sound of the machine. We observed from far how the machine stopped. Three lizards came out with riders on their backs.

"Well, if that's not your crazy sister.", I said annoyed. "And Ty Lee and Mai.", Zuko added. I looked up then saw Aang and the others on top of the mountain. "Zuko, look.", I pointed at them. "The Avatar!" We continued following the machine who followed Appa.
The next morning
We went after the machine through the night and it didn't stop.
Iroh's POV
I travelled around tracking my daughter and nephew. Suddenly bended rocks made me fall. I winced in pain rubbing my side. "That really hurt my tailbone." I looked behind me at a girl in Earth Kingdom clothes.
Zuko's POV
When Azula parted ways with her friends, we went after her to an abandoned village. We hid behind a building listening to the conversation between her and the Avatar.
"All right. You've caught up with me. Now, who are you and what do you want?", he asked. "You mean, you haven't guessed? Here's a hint.", she covered her left eye, "I must spy on the Avatar to restore my honor.", she imitated me. "It's ok. You can laugh. It's funny." "So what now?" "Now? Now it's over. You're tired, and you have no place to go. You can run, but I'll catch you." "I'm not running."
