He wakes up in Taehyung's bed or rather his bed or is it their bed now? Today is his first morning in Kim Mansion and it's also Christmas! Jungkook got some packers and movers to move all his stuff from his rented apartment to Kim Mansion. He thought he would be excited but also nervous and he thought he would take some time adjusting in the new setting but apparently not. Taehyung had everything ready to make him feel at home.
A study room was set up with book shelves and workspace for Jungkook to work for as long as he wanted because Taehyung knew he works till late.
Taehyung had his walk-in closet rearranged to empty half of it for Jungkook. Gym well equipped for the boyfriend who likes to workout. Cooks well informed about what he likes or doesn't like. Taehyung wanted to make sure Jungkook is comfortable and taken care of.
Jungkook looks for the older as soon as he wakes up. He isn't around. "Hyung? Morning! Where you at?". He goes downstairs after showering only to be amazed by the Christmassy decor. The whole place is decorated in red and white.
"Woah! Is there going to be a party?", he asks Maria.
"There's always a party in Kim Mansion during holiday season", Maria adds, "Breakfast?"
"Sure", Jungkook smiles, "Where's hyung?"
"Office."
"On Christmas?!"
"On Christmas", Maria chuckles.
"What bullshit!", Jungkook mutters before calling his boyfriend. "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?", he yells.
"Stop yelling Koo. I am at the Office".
"WHY? IT'S CHRISTMAS!"
"Just a little something that I needed to get done before the party tonight".
"And why didn't you tell me there was a party?"
"I did".
"When?"
"Last night babe!"
"No you didn't"
"Jungkook, I did".
"Whatever. Who is coming?"
"Everyone"
"Who is everyone?"
"Every business tycoon in Korea, industrialists, artists, friends".
"WHAT?"
"You are yelling again".
"I.."
"What happened Jungkook?"
"Nothing", he says in a rather gloomy voice.
"Talk"
"I thought it was just going to be us".
"Koo, I know but people look forward to this party all year long. It's important for business. Okay?"
"O-kay".
"After everyone is gone, it will just be us. We can have a late night Christmas party. Okay?"
"Okay"
"You know I am not there but I can still picture you pouting", Taehyung chuckles.
"You said we were going to keep our relationship hidden from people but invited the whole city here. Am I supposed to stay in the room?"
"Oh God! Ofcourse not. You will be here. Meet everyone. We just won't tell them about us. Be a friend tonight?"
"A friend?"
"Uh-huh"
"I just realised, I have never been your friend".
"Never", Taehyung chuckles again.
