Team's pov:

I stared at the clock on the wall blankly as it ticked.

The time showed 2:23 am.

I was leaning on the headboard of my bed.

Not even slightly sleepy.

Why?

Because i met him again today.

After 2 years.

The person i never wanted to see again.

And he smiled and talked to me as if nothing ever happened.

Acting like the perfect gentleman in front of other people.

No one knows what hides underneath that mask.

The few people other than me who know, actively ignore it.

I sighed softly and combed back my hair with my fingers.

Hia is going to yell at me if he sees my dark circles...

I pulled my knees close to my chest and propped my chin on them.

But those memories ring in my head the moment i close my eyes.

I don't want to close my eyes.

I don't want to relive those memories.

I forgot to restock on sleeping pills as well.

I don't even have any foundation to hide my dark circles.

Hia took the one i had and warned me not to use them again.

I took my phone from my nightstand and turned it on.

A small smile formed on my face as i saw the lock screen wallpaper.

It was of our hands intertwined together.

Hia had taken it from my phone and set it as my wallpaper after sending it to his phone.

Hia lock screen wallpaper is the same picture as well.

"Would you still love me if you knew?" I muttered under my breath as i caressed the screen with my thumb.

Would you still smile at me so brightly if you knew?

Would you still say that you love me?

Would you still hold me?

Would you still stay by my side?

I hugged my phone close to my chest.

I hope you won't leave...

You're the only one who can make me feel so safe and warm...

I perked up when there was a knock on the door.

I blinked profusely and looked at the sliding doors where the curtains were closed.

Oh.

It's already morning?

I looked at the time.

8:34 am.

I didn't realize so much time had passed.

I spent hours sitting here just hugging my phone.

I snapped my head towards the door when there was another knock.

I got up from the bed and looked at the mirror on the other side of the room.

The dark circles under my eyes were obvious even from a mile away.

I'm definitely getting scolded...
