Zoe opened the door to the office and sent a wink to Karen who had looked up the moment they entered. She barely got a few feet in before Foggy started interrogating Matt.

"You want to tell me what the hell's going on with you?" Foggy demanded while shutting the door behind him, "First you decide we're taking the case unilaterally and then you cross-examine the guy like we're playing bad cop/worse cop. With you and Zoe tag teaming him."

"If we want to keep the lights on, we gotta take some cases for the money." Matt answered calmly, using what Foggy had said against him, "You were right about that."

"Okay-" Foggy raised his hand up and shot a look at Karen and Zoe, "You heard that right? Write this down, this is the first time Matthew Murdock has ever said I was right." He cringed a bit and shot his friend a dirty look, "I hate it."

"Sometimes, we have to do things we aren't proud of."

Zoe crossed her arms over her chest with a long sigh, "Yeah, but this can't become what we do."

"Yeah, I know."

"And-" Foggy interjected, "We have to be on the same team, making decisions together."

"I got carried away." Matt apologized to his partners, "I'm sorry."

Foggy glanced at Zoe, who just gave a shrug, "It's okay."

Matt put his fist out in front of the two of them, which caused the pair to snort and bump Matt's fist. He pulled his fist back and held his walking stick, "So?"

"Okay." Foggy started to get to business, "So assuming he's indicted, which, yeah, it's on the DA to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it wasn't self-defense, shoe girl's DD-5 says that she didn't come out of the back room until after the fight had started, which helps us."

Matt nodded at his words, "And what about Prohaszka's men?"

"They lawyered up." Zoe pointed out to him, while crossing her arms over her chest and sitting on Karen's desk, "Wouldn't give a five."

"Since when do the victims of an assault not give a statement?" Karen inquired, finally talking about the case with them.

"Another chit in our favor." Foggy said, before adding, "Plus Healy's pretty banged up. Argue defensive wounds, which makes it look like a fight and less like an execution."

"So, you or Zoe can open up, I'll sum up. And we should cash that check." His head tilted while facing where he recalled Karen's desk was, "Do you think you can see what you and Benicia can find out about Confederated Global."

"I can."

Zoe finally took note that Benicia wasn't in the office at the moment, "Uh... Where the hell is she?"

Benicia played with her fingers while reading over the papers in front of her. She wouldn't stop tapping her foot on the ground.
