Jumping a bit, Benicia grabbed onto Matt's hand. She opened her eyes and turned to look directly at him. She released his hand and wiped her palm against her jeans, "Sorry."
"No, it's alright." Matt offered her a small smile, "We've landed."
"Oh, awesome." Benicia sat up a little bit more and rubbed at her eyes. She cleared her throat and stretched her limbs out with a groan.
Rhea poked her head over their seats, "You sleep too?"
"Yup." Benicia sent a small smile up at Rhea, "Still a bit tired but as soon as I get up I'll probably be wide awake."
Foggy stood and leaned onto the back of their chairs as well, "Speaking of people sleeping. You should see Karen and Zoe."
Almost instantly, Benicia pulled herself onto her own chair just so she'd get a good look. While Rhea turned around. In their seats, Karen and Zoe were currently sleeping. They were sharing earbuds and leaned against one another as they slept. Zoe's head was in the crook of Karen's neck and they were even holding hands.
Rhea all but gushed as she pressed her palms to her cheeks with a smile on her face. She turned back to look at Benicia, who didn't really have a reaction like her own but she was smiling softly.
Foggy scratched the back of his neck, "I don't want to wake them."
Benicia shrugged her shoulders, "They'll have time to do that in the car. We can't keep them on the plane." She pressed her body against the backrest as though she was trying to lean as close as she could, "Zoe. Karen. It's time to get up."
"Mm. What?" Zoe slowly lifted her head away from Karen and tugged her earbud out, "Have we landed?"
"Yeah."
Karen yawned loudly and was careful as she stretched her arms up, "I didn't even realize I fell asleep."
"Yeah, you two seemed really comfortable." Rhea teased with her elbows propped up on the chairs, "What did you dream about?"
"I was being chased around our college campus by a really big dog."
"What the fuck." Benicia walked around Matt once he had officially gotten up from his seat, "Please do not elaborate any further. That's so fucking weird."
Zoe stood up and stretched her arms up in the air, "I never said it was going to be normal. Rhea asked me so I answered."
"And it was weird."
Matt laughed as he unfolded his walking stick, "Shall we head out now?"
"I do need to get to the car rental place." Rhea checked the time on her watch, "Let's get a going. Go, go, go."
Benicia looped her arm with Matt's so he'd be able to walk faster in the plane. She had gotten so used to walking with him that it just became instinctual. Once they were off the plane though, Benicia did release him from her hold.
