"It's your lucky day, Mr. Castle." Foggy spoke, while Zoe was still out having a heated conversation with Reyes, "The six Dogs of Hell gang members you wiped out in Delaware? Won't be an issue anymore. Delaware doesn't have the evidence to charge and extradive, so the death penalty is officially off the table."

Frank had glanced between Foggy and Benicia, noticing how Benicia seemed to have been relieved with how her shoulders untensed.

"But Reyes also wanted three life sentences without the possibility of parole. But Zoe and I got her down to one, with the possibility of parole in twenty-five years. That's the good news."

Benicia put her hands on her hips, "Awesome, and the bad?"

"She is not budging on protective custody, Zoe is still... trying but I don't see it following through." Foggy explained, "He's going to have to be in general pop."

"But-" Benicia only seemed to get irritated, "That's just bullshit. He'll be surrounded by criminals. The kind of people out for his blood."

"Sounds like a party." With Frank's words, Benicia shot him a dirty look for the joke.

"No doubt you can handle yourself-" Foggy said, "-but I think Reyes is betting on the gangs here. Legally, though? I think this is the best possible deal we're gonna make right now. So I recommend you take it."

"Okay."

"Okay, so, when the judge and Reyes come in all you have to do is say three simple words. Guilty, your Honor. And you'll never see us again."

Frank nodded his head in understanding and took a look at Benicia to only see that she didn't look pleased with the situation at all. "Can do."

"I'll be back. Benny, you coming?"

"Uh..." Benicia nodded her head, "Yeah, sure."

Benicia took one last look at Frank before she followed Foggy out of the room. Zoe had been there waiting the entire time, "What happened?"

"He agreed to plead guilty."

Zoe released a long sigh, "So we'll be done with this soon?"

"Yes. I'll go get Reyes and the judge."

"How was it in there? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Benicia answered her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Zoe, I'm sure." Benicia tilted her head to the side and let out the deepest sigh, "I don't like this."

"What do you mean?"

"Just... I feel bad for him. He-He clearly... He's not a bad person."

"Not a bad person?" Zoe repeated, "Seriously? He has murdered people and not to mention shot at you. How can you feel for this guy at all after all the fucked up shit he's done."
