Opening the office doors, Benicia was met with Zoe and Rhea cornering Foggy. She bypassed them in silence and set her things down on her desk. Slowly, she approached Karen's own desk, where Karen was busy with her computer open.
"What are they doing to Foggy?"
"Rhea mentioned vacationing." Karen answered simply before she finally looked away from the monitor of her laptop. "And now Zoe wants to do some group thing."
Benicia immediately made a face, "But... we just barely took down Fisk. We need more clientele here. Not a vacation."
"See!" Foggy clapped his hands together before he pointed at Benicia, "She agrees. We need to focus on our jobs."
Zoe just shook her head, "We deserve a vacation after all our hard work! I don't know about you but this entire situation has honestly been really stressful."
Rhea nodded her head in agreement, "You guys can be gone for a week. The place won't go up in flames. It would be so super fun."
Karen shrugged her shoulders from her spot behind her desk, "I do not mind either way. But I don't want it to just be me, Zoe, and Rhea."
"Oh for sure." Rhea crossed her arms over her chest and eyed the couple, "I am not third wheeling on a trip." Her eyes then landed on Benicia, who had made her way to her own desk to get ready for the day.
Benicia glanced over once she realized they had all gone silent. She blinked a few times before she sighed, "You are not about to force me to go just so you're not the third wheel. Plus, that would leave Foggy and Matt in the office alone. They wouldn't survive."
"Wow." Foggy pressed a palm over his chest and shook his head, "You truly think that little of us, Benny? I thought we were friends."
"We're friends, hence why I'm telling the truth." Benicia sat down in her seat and twirled it so she faced them all, "I won't go unless everyone in this office goes."
Zoe released the longest groan, "Are you kidding me? That is not fair Benny."
Matt opened the door and tilted his head, "What's not fair?"
"Rhea and I want us all to take a vacation." Zoe explained to him as she clasped her hands behind her back and approached him, "But Benny said that she won't go unless every person in this office does."
Matt nodded his head in understanding with a small laugh, "Oh, yeah? And where exactly would our destination be?"
Rhea blinked a couple of times, "Well... I kind of wanted to go to California."
Benicia immediately made a face and pinched at the bridge of her nose, "Why?"
Karen leaned back in her own chair, "Why do you sound so grossed out? I think it would be really fun to go to the West coast."
