Zoe and Karen sat next to each other in the office while watching Foggy and Benicia argued about whether or not they should tell Matt what they were doing. Zoe had to sink a little bit in her desk while covering her mouth to stop the laugh. It was ironic how they were talking about this while Matt and Rhea essentially had this same conversation but with a different context. Zoe just thought it was funny that Foggy and Benicia had told them about it but was now having a conversation about Matt's reaction.
Karen finally chimed into the conversation, "I still think that Matt should be brought into the fold."
"Matt wouldn't understand." Benicia pointed out to everyone while tugging her jacket off, "You know what he would say."
"That we're awesome?"
Benicia gave him a pointed look, "No, that we're being stupid."
Zoe raised her hand up in the air and added, "I prefer the term foolheartedly provocative."
Karen just pushed at Zoe while getting up from her seat, "Yeah, that's lawyer talk for stupid. You guys want any coffee?"
Foggy glanced over at Benicia, who didn't say a single thing and sat down. He then looked at Zoe, who acted like Foggy wasn't looking at her. "Okay, since I'm obviously the only one willing to say the truth."
"What?" Karen looked between all of them, "You don't like my coffee?"
"No, I hate it." Foggy admitted, which only made Benicia laugh, "I appreciate the effort, but the technique, or lack thereof-"
"My God-" Karen put the kettle down, "You're such a dick."
"On occasion some dickery may leak out-" Foggy raised his hands in the air as if defending himself, "-but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."
Karen was basically pouting, "Well, it means somethin'."
"Awe, I love your coffee."
Karen crossed her arms over her chest, "Zoe, you don't like coffee."
"But I like you."
Foggy looked directly at Benicia, who looked equally disgusted. He decided to continue their conversation from earlier, "Okay, let's say we keep Matt in the dark. How long do you think-" Matt opened the door to the office, "-I should grow my hair? Matt, what's your take on that? Mullet? Full pony?"
Benicia just stared at Foggy but as soon as she looked at Matt, she was shocked to see bruises on his face and a little bandaid, "Oh, my God. Are you okay? Did you fall down again?"
"Oh-" Matt brushed it off, but could feel Zoe's eyes on him, "It's nothing."
"Are you sure?" Benicia questioned as she started to walk over to him, "This is becoming far too frequent."
"I think he'll be just fine." Zoe mumbled under her breath while moving away to go to her desk.
Matt had heard her comment and decided to go back, "Don't tell me what?"
