Benicia walked through the hall while on the phone with Rhea, "No, I'm not doing anything stupid again."

"Honestly, that's really hard to believe. Last time you said you were okay, you were part of a hostage situation with a bomber. And then was also held hostage by Frank Castle."

"You know I just said that so he could get out of there." Benicia rolled her eyes as she stopped in front of the door, "You can even check my location if you want. I'm in front of Matt's apartment."

There was a long pause on Rhea's end. Whether she was checking Benicia's location or pausing at the reminder of Benicia occasionally living in Matt's apartment, she'd never know. "Have you been taking your medication?"

With an exasperated laugh, Benicia pushed her hand through her hair. It was finally starting to grow back a little after she had essentially buzzed it off into a pixie cut, "Yes, Rhea, I took my meds last night at eight like usual. I have an alarm on my phone to remind me so I don't forget."

"Okay... I just want to make sure that you're alright... you know?"

"I know." Rhea and everyone else in Benicia's life... "Thank you for checking up on me." Benicia hummed as she dug through her bag to get the keys out.

"Of course."

Benicia waited to see if Rhea would say anything else but she didn't. At this point, Benicia thought about not picking up the phone. She genuinely appreciated her friends making sure she was okay, but it was also exhausting to be harangued this much. "Okay. Well, uh, I need to go."

"Yeah, yeah, uh, goodby-"

Benicia hung up the call and shoved her phone into the pocket of her skirt. She stared at the door for a long time. She adjusted her glasses, the same frames as her old ones, and unlocked the door. Ever since she started taking her medication, Benicia was slowly stopping herself from always being here at Matt's apartment.

"Benny."

Turning around, Benicia smiled at Matt's neighbor Fran, "Hi! How are you?"

"Okay. Are you cleaning up again for him?"

"Yeah." Benicia whispered with a small smile on her face, "Uh, see you around."

"See you, dear."

She set her bag down and released a long sigh. Benicia would still come over about once a week and clean the place. It was only dust that she'd clean now but she couldn't help it. Sometimes she'd pass out from how drained she was. Benicia played with her hands a bit and looked through all of Matt's mail. She was making sure that there were not any bills left. With a long sigh, Benicia glanced to the side and looked at the window.

One area that she hadn't cleaned off just yet. There was a small water stained ring from where she would water the flowers that Frank had gotten her. She still had them back at her actual apartment. Finally, Benicia turned her head and stared directly at the large closet that used to hold Matt's Daredevil suit.
