"You could at least dress nicer."
Benicia glanced down at her clothes. She was wearing a plain blue t-shirt and blue jeans with black Vans. "What's wrong with it? We established with Matt that we didn't have to dress nicely for this dinner."
"But everyone is still dressing... better."
Benicia just furrowed her brows and glanced at the others as she spoke at the dinner table, "They're dressed like how they dress all the time. So am I."
Rhea let out a small huff, "Well, you never dress formally."
"And?"
"Even at work..."
"If I agree to change, will you stop haranguing me about it?" Benicia immediately pulled her shoes off and watched as Rhea's face lit up in excitement, "I don't have any other clothes though."
"Come-" Rhea grabbed Benicia's wrist and tugged her toward the stairs, "Zoe! Karen! To my room! Benny agreed to change!"
Karen raised her brows and looked over at Benicia, "Really?"
"I'm hungry and she wouldn't stop pestering me."
Zoe hurried over to them and pushed at the pair, "Well, let's get you changed and we can go. Move, move, move-"
"Oh, my God-"
Karen laughed and raised her hands up, "I'll stay down here. Have fun, Benny."
Benicia released a sarcastic laugh and glared at Karen before following after Rhea since Zoe kept pushing at her. She hadn't really gone upstairs that often this entire week, she had mainly stayed downstairs. The only time she went up was to wake Zoe for breakfast. She was ushered into Rhea's room.
Zoe had completely stopped and furrowed her brows, "What the hell happened on your bed?"
"Oh, Foggy and I stayed up last night playing a card game." Rhea quickly cleaned it all up before glancing over at the two of them. "Nothing happened."
"That must have been unfortunate for you then." Benicia mumbled out loud.
Zoe covered her mouth and laughed as she shoved at Benicia for her comment. She moved over to Rhea's suitcase, "Whatcha got for Benny?"
Rhea rubbed at her arm for a moment, "Well, these are what I like so I'm sure Benny will hate all of it but-" She tugged a couple of dresses out of her bag, "I think these will fit her. They might be a little long and probably a little loose too."
Benicia eyed the dresses with disdain, "Awesome..."
"So-" Rhea finally gave one to her a peach colored dress, "-This is a wrap dress so you'd probably be able to fit it to you correctly, it is a little long..."
"Fine-" Benicia slipped her shirt off and put the dress on. She tightened the strap around her waist before tugging her jeans off. She even pulled her socks off, "There. I'll go put on my sandals and we can go."
