Foggy stared past Benicia at all the people that decided to come to the trial today. These people were dressed in shirts and had signs, it almost reminded the group of a convention. And Foggy decided to vocalize what they were all thinking, "Fan club's here."

Zoe was staring as well now, but her focus was pulled when Karen placed a hand on her arm, "Word must have gotten out about Frank testifying."

Foggy started to tap his foot nervously, "Matt better show..." His eyes searched the crowd for Rhea, who started to wear more makeup due to all of her bruises. Once he saw her, she gave him a little wave and a thumbs up.

"If he doesn't, we'll be okay." Benicia told them all, even though Zoe and Foggy didn't particularly seem like they believed her, "Right?"

Karen nodded her head, "Right. We're great even without him around."

Matt walked into the room and Benicia caught sight of him. Instead, Benicia walked over to the table and sat down. She assumed he would approach Zoe and Foggy to figure out the plan since she had to believe that he didn't check in with anyone about the trial. But instead he immediately approached Benicia, "Hey, Benicia, I'm so sorry abou-"

Benicia turned her head away from him because she really couldn't look at him right now. Her eyes were on her notes and she was twirling her pencil around her fingers at a quick pace, "Foggy and Zoe want to walk through some things with you."

Matt paused. He had never been in this position with Benicia before. The cold and curt response she gave him actually tore deep as he swallowed. He backed away from her slightly and whispered, "I'd really like to be able to talk with you, Benicia..." And she didn't answer him. He did listen to her heart and caught how it sped up a little bit. Her breathing shifted and he could tell that she was having a hard time in general. He could hear her foot tapping against the floor and the sound of the lead in her pencil moving around.

Karen walked around and sat beside her, "Are you good?"

"I'm fine."

"Benny..." Karen murmured softly, "You can't do this-"

"I'm not-" Benicia knew where Karen was going with this. "This isn't the same. I'm-You weren't there. You didn't see what I see."

"What happened?"

"There-" Benicia exhaled through her nose with her brows furrowed, "There was a woman in his shirt in his bed. There's barely any room for interpretation."

Karen gave Benicia a sympathetic look, "It could be a misunderstanding. You two will have to talk..."

"I know that. I'm just not in the mood to really get into this conversation."

"That-That's fair." Karen whispered and glanced over at Matt, who she knew could hear the entire conversation.

Matt was sour. He approached Zoe and Foggy with a deep scowl on his face. Clearing his throat, he tried to raise his mood, "You wanted me here?"
