Oxymoron [ Completed]

Adventures Part One

*The Morning*

"Did you pack yet?" He asked as he was finishing putting his essentials in his sports bag for yet another day of practice. We're going on vacation tomorrow and he won't even take a day to chillax. His work ethic is something to be envied.

"I have outfits picked out but I haven't put it inside my suitcase. I'm going to do that today after I get back from being with Lena." I said juggling my keys as we walked to his front door.

"Okay. Call me later." He said giving me a quick peck before closing the door behind me.

"Bye." I said as I waved, putting my bag in my back seat.

"To my house we go." I said to myself as I pulled off.

*At Home*

"WHY AREN'T  YOU DRESSED YET?!" I yelled at Selena.

" I didn't know you would be home this early." She defended.

"Whatever. Just hurry up. We have shit to do and places to be."

*30 Minutes*

"So where are we going?" She asked once we were on the expressway.

"To the Lighthouse Mall. Then we can stop at Chipotle." I said turning on the car's air.

"So are you going to tell me what happened?"

"Might take this whole car ride to tell you what events took place yesterday."

*5 Hours later{4:00}*

"I am pooped out and hungry." She said as we put our bags in the trunk.

"Good thing Chipotle isn't that far away."

We get to Chipotle 30 minutes later and we stayed and talked. It's amazing that after 5 hours of talking we would be done but not us. We were closer than most siblings making it more believable but the fact that she's always busy gives us more things to talk about because we only talk like once a week but only for like 30 minutes. She's in college, has her army drills, and her normal job. My brother on the other hand isn't as busy as her between his classes and football practice so we talk more often than me and her.

*At home*

You're creative for your wall." Angel complimented as he walked into my room. It was his first time being in my room and seeing all the decorations is a lot to take in. It was simple but complex.

"Thanks. Just something I threw together. So are you guys packed?" I asked as we sat on the floor folding the rest of my clothes that I didn't get to before they arrived.

"Yes. Finished yesterday night." Jamie answered.

"Between him badgering me to tell him where we are going." Angel added with a hint of agitation.

"Good thing we only have to wait 15 more hours to leave and find out." I said trying to make light of the situation.

Sure." Jamie mumbled."I'm going to the bathroom." He said louder so it could be more coherent.

I waited for him to close the door before I decided to make Angel tell me where we are going.

Jamie came back rather quickly interrupting our stare off. I was trying to pry it out of him where we were going but he didn't crack. 

"I was just thinking, do you ever talk to Josh or Jocelin?" Jamie asked as he sat back in spot, continuing to help me pack.

"Yeah." I sighed."They broke up. I haven't seen her because she said she barely wanted to talk to people let alone see them."
