"So glad I slept through the turbulence. I would've been going crazy." I confessed, standing next to Julie. We were at baggage claim waiting for our luggage to come around and I prayed that they came fast. Being in the airport exhausted me when it in midday because it was too compact.
"I know! I would've been forced to knock you out." Julie said knowingly.
"Whatever. Where did Jaylen, Jocelyn, and Josh go ?" I asked confused. That mix is weird coming out of my mouth but it made sense. Jaylen was really close to both of them and most likely trying to mediate the situation.
"I think they went to go get snacks." Julie responded.
"Oh okay. Here comes our bags ! " I said excited. We could finally go to the hotel and take a nap then go get my tattoo.
The three came back just in time to grab their bags and we were off to our van that we booked to take us to the hotel. Thankfully, they were there right in front and we piled in.
"Good thing we booked a big van to take us to the hotel." Angel said.
"Right. We're only staying for the weekend yet everyone packed for a two week stay." Matt said grunting trying to force the bags to fit in the back.
We finally packed everything in and we were off to the wonderful vacation. Everyone was talking amongst themselves when one conversation caught my eye. Josh and Julie were conversing. I know she was just as upset about it as I was so there must be a good explanation. They were exchanging looks then they landed on me and it was not a comforting feeling. The one thing in the back of my mind became vocal once more and I was less excited for this trip.
We made it to the hotel within another hour and I was still stressing over what information the conversation held and how much it would affect me.
"Well her appointment is at five so meet us in the room at four." Jaylen said to Matt and Julie because everyone else has made it to their rooms already. It just occured to me that Josh and Jocelyn booked a one bed room so I wonder if they changed it but right now I didn't care because it wasn't me.
"What do you plan on doing until then?" Matt asked.
"I'M sleeping. Mama needs her beauty rest." I responded, stretching out then slumping over. Posture wasn't really my thing.
"Okay. We'll be exploring around the town." Matt said grabbing Julie's hand.
"Bye Matt and Chummy." I said as I walked to the elevator.
I leaned on Jaylen and he hugged me. I was so tired but I shouldn't be. New York is only an hour ahead so it was only noon in my time. Waking up at six definitely had a lot to do with it but at this moment, I didn't care why I was tired. I just wanted to sleep in a comfortable bed.
We made it to our room and it was beautiful. It was waay fancier than what I was used to. I dropped my bags in the far corner before I went to the bathroom. Once I was out, I lied on the bed starting to drift off before I heard the bathroom door click.
"I'm going to the gym." I heard him say from somewhere in the room. I couldn't even muster up enough energy to lift my head or open my eyes. The best I did was some type of sentence that probably could translate into okay.

"Cheyenne, wake up." Jaylen said shaking me. I was in the middle of the best dream ever before there was an earthquake that happened to be named Jaylen Alvarez.
I got up slowly and went to take a shower and change out of my sweats.
"You guys got here early." I said to Julie and Matt as I walked out the bathroom.
