Sophia Dennings was a hopeless romantic as a freshman. Ever since the dreamy, popular, smart and attractive Finn Callahan lent her his hoodie, she was beyond smitten. But almost straight after that fateful day, he moved away from Sophia's life, but certainly not from her mind.

Four years later, a (hopefully more mature) Sophia finds herself on her way to Laguna Beach, California and also finds herself on a mission to return the hoodie to its rightful owner. Who would've guessed that Sophia would be staying at the prestigious Callahan mansion, a place she could only dream of setting foot in?

But then again - time has passed and things have changed. Is Sophia still as convinced the almighty Finn is her Prince Charming?

It's a bit like Cinderella in reverse, except the glass slipper is a hoodie, and the drawstrings are tangled.
