This is an adaptation/remake of the popular Episode story, Tangled Love, by Ashlynne Hartley. I have been granted permission to write and post this adaptation by Ashlynne herself, so don't report me! Lol, but kudos to you for making a great story!

No part of this book may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, without written permission from the author. If you happen to find a copy of this story elsewhere, report to me (and to Ashlynne, if applicable) IMMEDIATELY with the link attached to it, as well as Wattpad support!!!

It would make me super, super sad if you plagiarised (although kinda grateful knowing that my story is good enough to be plagiarised) so please don't. From the goodness of your heart, please don't copy my work.

if you are expecting an exact copy-paste rewrite of Ashlynne's story, you've come to the wrong place. This story does admittedly follow the same storyline but there are some differences between my story and the original. Like any other adaptations, there will be parts missing and parts that are different to the original story, and as a writer, I ask you, the reader, to respect my decision to change so.

A lot of people have asked me about the relations between Cinderella in Reverse, Tangled Love (where the story originated from), and other multimedia works. I know Ashlynne has also been under fire for 'plagiarising' the works of Itazura Na Kiss (the manga) and its counterparts Playful Kiss (the Korean drama adaptation) and others, which is absurd considering Tangled Love is evidently work entirely of her own blood sweat and tears. I can 100% assure you I did not read/watch the two works UNTIL halfway through updating (see the A/N in chapter 21 - in which I posted it on May 22 2016 talking about how I recently got into K-dramas and Korean/Japanese culture) and only recently discovered the controversy surrounding the plagiarism issue with Tangled Love (late June). Ashlynne has made amendements regarding this claim, and I have followed suit and plan to continue to do so when commencing further editing. So please refrain from harassing both of us about issues that don't need to escalate further. It's only going to become more messy and more infuriating for both you and I if you choose to drag it on.

~On Episode: Choose Your Story~

Episode is where I discovered Ashlynne's story and is also where you can read others alike, and create your own. It is a smartphone app where there are thousands of animated stories where you, as the reader, chooses the path the story takes. It's pretty much like those Choose Your Own Adventure books, but digital. It also entices readers and budding authors to also create their own stories and share them within the Episode community.
