A/N: As promised - here's the epilogue! as per the title, be very aware and tread carefully... :D

"And so that, kids, is how your mother and I got together." Finn looked down at his bundles of joy, kissing the tops of their soft brown heads. Finn got up from the arm chair, propping the kids down onto the couch from his lap and went to the kitchen.

"But mom," one of them whined. "That's so gross! Daddy kissed you!"

I looked down at my son and shrugged. "It's the truth."

After Finn and I announced our relationship, Ashley started to appear a lot happier. With the wedding called off, she was beyond ecstatic. It was a little scary, to be honest.

For Rosie, it was tough. It must've been hard watching your fiancé flee the altar the way Finn did all those years ago, but she moved on. Finn still kept in touch with her, to my chagrin. Fortunately for her, she got married a few years after that fateful day.

To whom, you ask? None other than Austin Phillips.

Like Vienna said - Austin and I were too alike, and Finn and Rosie were too alike. So it was almost perfect seeing the two opposites together.

The happy couple were kind enough to invite us to their wedding, and I guess now we're on speaking terms. At least it was better than being awkward around them for the rest of our lives.

As for Vienna, she's about to have her second child. After college, Elliot proposed to her the same day she told him she fell pregnant. Her prim and proper cousin on the other hand, had just recently gotten married. Tori and Carter were on their honeymoon just a few weeks ago.

Reminiscing about the past and about my friends got me thinking about my wedding proposal, that fateful night in Aspen, Colorado.

~~~
The proposal happened in Aspen, and Finn had taken me to a ski lodge he had rented for the weekend as a three-year anniversary treat. Unfortunately, it was snowing too hard, so we had to stay in our cabins because it wasn't safe enough to go skiing.
I spent most of the time tidying up the bedroom, especially after, ahem, certain events that occurred the previous night. Straightening rumpled sheets and packing up tossed clothing, I found Finn's jeans, with an unusual bulge in the pocket.
With my suspicion sufficiently aroused at this point, I fished in the pocket to find it, and pulled it out. It was a small, velvet box, fit for a....a ring.
What if there was something in here I didn't need to see? What if this was the ring from when he proposed to Rosie?
I went to open it, but then-
"BOO!"
I screamed and jumped in complete shock, and I turned to face my assailant. Finn.
"What the hell?" I scowled. "What are you doing?"
My boyfriend of three years smirked at me evilly. "Trust you to go searching through my pants for answers." My cheeks heated up, in both anger and embarrassment. "I should be asking you the same thing."
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a tight hug. I didn't want to ruin the great time we were having together, but all I could think was that he'd kept the ring, because he loved Rosie.
I loved Finn. Even if he never wanted to marry me, I would stay as long as he wanted me. I was that pathetic. Seeing him smile made my day a thousand times brighter. Besides I didn't reject a marriage proposal for nothing.
