To this day, I was still thankful for Finn lending me his hoodie and saving me, but I was still confused about the aftermath of the incident. A real act of chivalry wouldn't end in the chivalrous leaving straight after...right? It's like Cinderella all over again, except in reverse. Where Cinderella is in the 21st century and has to find her own prince charming.
Besides, who needs gender roles? Pizza rolls, not gender roles!
"So who are you staying with, Soph?" Vienna asked, shaking me out of my reverie.
I fished through my bag, trying to find the text message that had all the details of the people I was staying with. I finally found my phone and pulled it out."I think it's the Callahan family or something..." I replied, scanning the message on the screen.
"At least you actually have an idea as to who they are, I've never even met my uncle's family!" Vienna whined, flailing her arms everywhere like a three-year-old.
"That doesn't mean you won't be in good hands, I mean, your parents wouldn't get a hobo to look after you," I reassured.
"You never know," she said. I laughed at how paranoid she was - she was just that crazy.
"You know, I'm always just a phone call away." I replied as we touched down into the airport after hours of jet-lagged travel.

After going through security, we made it to the baggage claim, ready to head out to our respective families. I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. That's how I always felt meeting new people.
"It says that I'm meeting up with my cousin, whose name's like, Astoria Lyons? Or something? " she said, whilst texting someone.
"God, Vi. Stop texting and help me find these people!" I scolded, swatting her arm as if I were an old lady.
Then, a male and a female, who were probably around our age, approached us. The girl had long, sleek, honey blonde hair, and the other guy was wearing a dorky band t-shirt. "Hey, uh..." the girl coughed uncomfortably, tugging at the hem of her knit cardigan.
"Sorry, who are you?" I asked bluntly, clutching my luggage in case they were secret thieves. You never know.
"You guys wouldn't happen to be Sophia Dennings and...Vienna Waldorf, would you?" the guy asked, looking at a piece of paper. He glanced up and stared directly at me with wide eyes. O-okay....
"Y-yeah..." Vienna replied unconvinced. She squinted her eyes in suspicion. "Nice to meet you...personal stalker..."
I swatted her arm and she shot me an innocent look.
