Your hand caressed his soft cheek as he slept, his arms securely around your waist, holding you close. His face was close to yours, the small light coming from outside the hotel shinning on his face.
Silent snores came from him, making you giggle quietly when a slightly louder snore surprised you out of nowhere. His lips were pouted, eyelashes resting aesthetically at his closed eyes. You felt mesmerized by his beauty, just like many other times.
But this time it was more magical, more meaningful, more loving. Because this time you knew that your relationship meant more than just a simple night stand or a pleasure-filled experience. He truly wanted to make you feel loved by him. To show you you meant the world to him.
With a small sigh, you leaned closer to him, burying your face on his chest. Your movement caused Jungkook to inhale and shift a bit, giving you more space to move closer to him while his arms shift to be around your shoulders and hips.
"I love you..."
You smiled at his whisper, placing a soft kiss on his chest. "I love you too." You whispered back, looking up to see his eyes were still closed. "But you don't love me as much as I love you." He whispered again, making you giggle which brought a grin on his lips.
"Stop it~" You whined at his teasing, his eyes finally opening and looking down at you sleepily. "Can't sleep?" He asked softly, his hand moving to caress your cheek lovingly.
You simply shook your head, "I just wanted to watch you for a bit." You replied, making him hum in response. "Like a creep." He added. "Not like a creep!" You exclaimed right after, slapping his chest as he laughed.
"You are a creep. Who watches someone else sleep?" He teased, hovering over you and making you lay on your back now. "You've watched me sleep too! So you're a creep as well!" You exclaimed again, your eyes slightly wide while you hit his chest softly.
You then noticed the wide smile on his lips as he hovered over you, his messy hair making your heart beat faster from how handsome he looked, even if he had just woken up.
"You're so fucking cute." He whispered, placing a kiss on your nose. "And adorable." He kissed your forehead. "And sexy." He kissed your jawline, a small giggle leaving you. "And gorgeous." He stopped at your lips, a few inches away as he stared deeply into your eyes.
"And it makes me the luckiest man in the universe to be able to call you mine."
You closed your eyes when his lips connected with yours, moving your hands to his cheeks. He carefully pressed his body onto yours, not wanting to crush you as he guided your legs around his waist, holding you close.
The slow kiss deepened slightly, your stomach bursting with butterflies and your heart racing. You felt his heart slam against his chest with the same speed as yours, his hands caressing the back of your head and your thigh as you kissed.
He licked your lips with the tip of his tongue, trailing the outline of them before slowly pulling away, the two of you panting in need of air.
Your eyes stayed closed, foreheads pressed together. "Don't leave me." He whispered. Your eyes snapped open to find his watered ones, lips trembling as he moved closer.
You pouted softly as he sniffled, a few tears managing to escape down his cheeks. "I don't want to lose you." He added. You quickly shook your head and hugged him as tight as possible, his face burying into your neck as you held the back of his head.
"I'm not going anywhere. I promise." You whispered, a few tears leaving your own eyes.
"I'm leaving, Jimin." You announced. His eyes widened as he sat on the small couch in front of you, stuttering incoherent words. "Y-You can't. What about Jungkook?" He asked quickly.
"It's better if he finds out once I'm back in Korea. Or on the plane to Korea." You replied after, your eyes tearing up. "It's for the best, Jimin. Me staying here only puts you, Taehyung, Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok, and Yoongi in danger. And Jungkook in even more danger." You added.
"You need as many bodyguards as you can have, and they cannot be trying to protect me all the time when they have to be protecting you instead." You explained. "I'll be fine back in Korea, nothing will happen to me."
"B-But... Jungkook?" He asked, looking behind you at someone standing there. You looked back to find Yoongi there, Taehyung standing beside him.
"So you're truly leaving?" Yoongi asked, moving to sit beside you as Taehyung moved to Jimin's side, patting the poor man's back. "I have to." You sobbed.
Yoongi frowned a bit, pulling you into his arms and patting your head comfortingly. "It's okay. We'll take care of Jungkook. He'll be fine." He whispered.
"How will he be fine?" Jimin instantly replied. "Y/n makes him the happiest person alive. What do you think will happen once he finds out she went back home without saying goodbye to him?!" He exclaimed, looking at Taehyung.
But Taehyung knew exactly why you didn't want to say goodbye to Jungkook. Why you didn't want to see him one last time before going. Why you couldn't bear the fact about the way he'd react would be heartbreaking.
"Because she knows that if he sees her before leaving, he won't let her go home. And she won't be able to leave either." Taehyung replied, glancing at you and back at Jimin who finally saw your point of view.
