I had a dream last night about Timothee but it was more of a nightmare. He saw who I really was and hated it. He hated me. The look in his eyes shattered my heart.
I woke up with tears in my eyes but I was thankful when I saw I was in my room. It was just a dream.
I woke up to a text from Timothee asking if I wanted to go to a party tonight. Honestly I hated parties more than anything, but I agreed not wanting to be boring.
I decided to text Maddy and ask if she was busy as I had nothing to do today. She replied saying she'd be over in ten.
We spent the day talking and getting to know each other even more. I wanted to tell her about Timothee but I didn't know if he'd be ok with that.
Maddy left and I had to start getting ready.
"Oh shit" I realised I had no idea what I was going to wear.
I jumped in the shower quickly and let my hair air dry. I had really curly hair, something I'd hated almost my entire life, but I was finally staring to accept it.
I put on some makeup which I hadn't done since being here. Tossing out what looked like my entire wardrobe, I decided on a sage green cropped tank top, with rhinestones on the neckline paired with mom jeans. Another one of my worst fears was overdressing, which is why I usually opted for casual over dressy.
There was a knock at my door and I opened it to see Timothee. I was speechless. He wore a purple sweatshirt with plain black jeans. It doesn't sound anything special but he looked heavenly."You- you look beautiful" stumbling over his words. He was nervous which honestly made me feel less anxious for some reason.
"You look pretty good yourself" I smiled.
A car was waiting outside my building and when Timothee went to open the door for me I looked at him in shock. Why was I shocked, of course he had a car.
Timothee got into the drivers seat and put some music on.
"Seatbelt" he raised his eyes at me and I realised I hadn't put my seatbelt on.
"Oh right...yeah" I fastened it. Something was still off with him but I couldn't tell what, but I could see it clear in his face.
We arrived at the party having not talked the entire journey. I was so anxious that I seriously thought I was about to pass out.
I held back a minute as we came to an apartment door, but told myself I was being stupid.
We entered into a living area with a few people that I instantly recognised. I wanted to leave. I didn't fit in with a bunch of famous people.
Timothee could see the look of panic and horror on my face.
"Hey it's fine. They're all really nice people and I promise I won't leave your side" he squeezed my hand.
I nodded and followed him over to some people sitting on a couch. I didn't recognise these bunch which made me less nervous.
"Hey guys this is Lucie" Timothee introduced me to everyone.
"Hey I'm Liam" one guy waved at me.
The rest just said hey and I sat on the end next to Liam.
"Do you want a drink?" Timothee asked me.
"Yeah I'll have whatever"
Timothee left to get us drinks and not going to lie I thought I was going to throw up and I hadn't even drank anything yet.
"So you're Lucie" Liam asked.
"Yeah" I smiled.
"Do I detect a British accent"
"Yeah...I uh moved here a month ago"
"You liking it so far?"
"Of course. I mean what's not to like" I laughed nervously.
Timothee came back handing me a drink. I took a sip. I took another sip. This wasn't alcohol, no I didn't ask for any but we were at a party. Looking up at him he didn't meet my eyes. What was up with him.
An hour passed and I'd talked to a few people. Mostly they just brought up my accent and asked me the same boring questions. I'd managed to sneak some vodka into my drink without Timothee noticing, it took away my anxiety.
I hadn't seen Timothee for a while, so I got up and searched for him. The alcohol was going to my head slightly and the room was spinning. I ended up bumping into a girl.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry"
"Don't worry it's fine. I'm Zedaya by the way" she smiled.
I stared at her in complete shock. There's no way I was speaking to Zendaya. My literally idol. This couldn't be real.
"Oh I'm- I'm Lucie" I stuttered.
"Nice to meet you"
"I uh- have you seen Timothee" I could hardly get my words out.
"He's around someone where. Oh so you're Lucie" she grinned.
"What do you mean?" Confusion across my face.
"Timothee's mentioned you a few times"
"He has. Well did he tell you I hate parties" I laughed. Wait what was I saying. It must be the vodka.
"Me too" she laughed "I'd rather stay at home honestly but here I am"
I liked her a lot.
"I'll see you" I said before heading down a corridor.
I needed to find a bathroom so I opened the first door I came to and saw Timothee passed out on the floor. I ran over to him.
"Timothee. Hey" I shouted.
He groaned and opened his eyes. A perfect smile came across his face as he saw me and my heart melted.
He stumbled up from his slumped position and came closer to me. I walked back tripping over my own feet until my back hit the door. Still edging towards me I could see the intoxication in his beautiful green eyes.
He put his hands either side of me against the door so I was trapped. His face was inches from mine and I could smell the liquor clear on his breath.
"Your so beautiful. You know that right" he starred right into my eyes. Every once of awkwardness gone.
I shook my head. My heart was racing he was so close to me.
"Lucie" he whispered in my ear and I could see the smirk on his face knowing exactly what he was doing.
I felt weak and I wanted him to kiss me so bad. He repeatedly whispered my name in my ear. Honestly I don't know how but he must've figured out how much I loved when he said my name.
He placed his lips on my neck and then up to my jawline.
"Please Timothee" I moaned.
A smile plastered across his face. I swear he was getting back at me for yesterday.
"Please what?" He whispered.
He had now moved one of his hands to my arm, tracing slowly up and down. Goosebumps rose all over my body.
"Timothee this isn't fair" I frowned.
And before I could say anything else he stumbled into the bath next to us.
Great.
