It was the next morning and I could hardly sleep last night because of how excited I was to go to California. I'd packed a few things and before I knew it Timothee was knocking.

"You ready" he smiled.

"Yep"

Timothee asked to carry my bag and I refused, which he laughed at for some reason. His car was parked outside which made me smile. He loved driving I could tell.

While driving to the airport he played pink+white, sad people, love will tear us apart and a few others I knew. He was definitely holding back on playing Kid Cudi's entire discography because I knew how much he loved his songs.

Once we got there security was waiting which I only expected because an airport was probably the busiest place there was. Timothee kept his hood up but held my hand. We went through all the airport stuff and boarded the plane.

I didn't realise it was a 6 hour flight. I'd never flown to San Fran before but I assumed it'd be shorter.

We were in better seats than I would normally sit in but there was still plenty of people sat around us. The thing I loved about Timothee is he was so humble. He never ever saw himself of greater importance or even thought it.

As soon as we sat I took my shoes off. Timothee noticed and laughed a little.

"Who'd want to wear shoes for 6 hours" I said.

"You have a point"

"Course I do"

He gave me that look. The one that made butterflies circle my stomach. Knowing exactly what he was doing. He always did it when I replied with sarcasm and he knew it was the only way to get me back. I gave him a stare back before turning my head to the tv and deciding what to watch.

Once we were in the air I pulled my feet up in the seat. I could never sit normally. My legs had to be in the most awkward looking position, but I found it comfy so who cares.

Three hours in and I'd watched the 4th Harry Potter movie. Timothee hadn't watched anything yet just listened to music and was writing something in a little book I'd never seen before. He looked deep in thought so I didn't want to disturb him. I put my earphones in and decided to listen to music.

I must've fallen asleep because I was woken to Timothee shaking my shoulder gently.

"Hey we're almost there" He said.

We landed and got our luggage. A car was waiting for us which me and Timothee both got in.

I looked out the window the entire way. It was similar to New York really only there were more trees.

Timothee had rented an apartment San Fran. As soon as I walked in my eyes widened.

"Oh my god" I said.

There were two floors. The kitchen and living area on the 1st and stairs lined with plants leading up to the 2nd floor.

"I knew you'd like it" He smiled watching me go up the stairs.

I walked into the first room on the left. A huge bed sat in the middle with a window overlooking a palm tree lined street.

The door further down the hallway was the bathroom and those were the only 2 rooms. Timothee carried my bag up into the bedroom.

"Only one bed?" I said.

"It was the only apartment left" He said running his hands through his hair.

"Mm I'm sure" I muttered under my breath but somehow he heard me.

He pulled my wrist making me turn towards him.

"Is sarcasm your first language?" His face inches from mine.

"Guess so" I said laughing because of how easy it was to tease him.

"Come on we're going out" he said before heading out the room.

"Oh ok" I said knowing he couldn't here me. Grabbing my bag I ran down the stairs.

"Where we going?"

"It's a surprise" his eyes warm.
