A few weeks passed. Me and Timothee spent as much time together as possible but he was super busy most of the time.
It was the day before I had to meet with the producers and managers of different record labels. They didn't expect me to have produced any songs specifically for them but I had because I didn't want to waste this opportunity.
In these past few weeks I also told Maddy about me and Timothee. She was my best friend after all and I couldn't keep it from her any longer. At first she didn't believe me, then freaked out and now she's super chill. The first thing she asked me is if we were together. I laughed and said of course not but she nodded in a I don't believe you way.
"Hey it's me" Maddy shouted, knocking on the door.
I let her in and we both sat on the couch. I made us both dinner and we ate it while watching pretty little liars.
"You excited for tomorrow?"
"And nervous"
"Well that's expected but you're gonna smash it out the park" She exaggerated the last part and we both laughed.
"Ok I didn't even realise people actually said that"
"So how's Timothee?" She smiled.
"He's uh working at the moment but we text"
"Does he know you love him?" Maddy asked.
"What?"
"Don't try and tell me you're not in love with him. Every time you talk about him you get nervous. I mean it's Timothee Chalamet how could you not be in love with him"
"I do love him...as a friend. You know platonic. Like you and me"
"Bullshit!"
I shoved her playfully and we talked about other stuff, then she left and I got ready for bed.
The next morning I woke up early. I couldn't believe this was actually happening. It was a perfect day outside. Sun and blue sky, with a warm breeze and a few scattered clouds. My favourite weather.
Hopping in the shower and putting on my playlist, I'd never felt more excited or nervous. I let my hair dry naturally like always because I had super curly hair. I put a bit of makeup on and decided on a pair of ripped mom jeans with a pale green cropped tank.
I was about to leave my apartment when I heard a knock on the door.
Curly hair and green eyes. A smile instantly grew across my face.
He looked at me, with his perfect smile and I wanted to melt.
"Ugh I've missed you" He said.
"Me too. I was about to head out to get a coffee, you can come"
"Yeah sure but first I actually have something for you" He put his hand in his jacket pocket and pulled something out.
"Since it's the day you're going to become a huge, amazing and famous singer" He teased, knowing I hated the whole you're going to be famous thing.
He held out a delicate silver chain with five small music notes dangling from the end. They where all different.
"It's...it's beautiful Timothee" I was lost for words.
"It's an anklet. I always see you wearing one so I thought you could wear this today for good luck" he smiled.
Timothee bent down and fastened it onto my ankle. The whole time I thought my heart was going to burst out my chest. The anklet sat perfectly above my trainers. He stood up and I hugged him for longer than normal, never wanting to let go.
