When I woke up the following morning, my arms were wrapped around Timothee and I immediately slipped them out from around him.

I know it's stupid because we...well I don't know what we are. Pushing the complicatedness out of my head I looked over at Timothee sleeping. His hair sprung out in every direction and yet still looked like the most perfect thing I'd ever seen, unlike me.

I lay there a minute then grabbed my notebook and started writing some lyrics down that had appeared in my mind. Completely lost in writing before the ideas and words drifted away, Timothee woke up.

"Hey what you writing?" He asked in a 'I've just woken up voice'.

"Lyrics...or ideas" I replied back.

"Can I see?"

"Nope"

"Why not?"

"Because it's just a bunch of words"

I continued writing while he watched me which wasn't the least bit distracting. After scribbling down a few more words, I closed the book and laid back on my pillow.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked him.

"I already have it planned out" He beamed.

He got up and went to the bathroom.

"Hey I'll go back to mine, get changed the meet you outside" He shouted.

"So you're not telling me what we're doing?" Shouting back.

"Nope"

I got up from my bed and started choosing an outfit. It was a perfect summers day again with the sun shining through my window, I could feel the warm rays on my skin.

"So I'll see you in 30?" He asked.

I nodded and he left.

Combing a brush lightly through my curls and quickly putting on some mascara, I made a coffee and drank it while picking an outfit. I decided on ripped light wash jeans with a baby blue tank lined with rhinestones along the neck. Gulping my coffee down I searched for my black converse. I hadn't seen them since last week. After what seemed like ages I finally found them by the washing machine.

Grabbing my phone, bag and keys, I ran out the door knowing Timothee would be waiting for me.

"Sorry I couldn't find my shoes" I said out of breath from running around my apartment.

He looked at me and his eyes widened.

"You look beautiful" He said.

Rolling my eyes I pushed his shoulder lightly at which he grabbed my waist lifting me up and started kissing my face.

"Timothee" I laughed.

"Ok come on" He put me down and grabbed my hand, walking to his car.

I loved his car so much. I've always preferred American cars to the ones back home. Once he started driving he put his playlist on and I instantly smiled because while I was listening to it, I noticed he'd added a few of my favourite songs.

We headed through the city, windows down, warm air blowing through.

"So you need to be ready" Timothee said as he looked over at me.

"Ready for what?" Looking at him confused.

He nodded his head over to the bridge coming up and then lifted his hand up to the sun roof opening it. I looked at him still confused. He grabbed his phone and scrolled.

"Take your seatbelt off" He said.

"What?"

"Just trust me. I'm not gonna go fast"

So I did what he said. I took my seatbelt off and then the song came on. A smile grew across my face as I realised what he wanted me to be ready for.

"Really?" I said excitedly.

He nodded at me looking just as excited and I climbed out of my seat and struggled my way up to the sun roof. The wind hit my face as the top half of my body was out the top of the car.

As we entered the bridge, Timothee turned the song up, Heroes by David Bowie. I put my arms out and took in this amazing, thrilling moment.  As the chorus came on Timothee started singing the lyrics and I did the same. We both sang louder and louder and soon were screaming the lyrics as loud as we could.

"I, I will be king and you, you will be queen" We both screamed.

I felt Timothee's arm wrap around my leg which only added to the mix of adrenaline.

"Wooooo" I screamed as the song came to an end.

I climbed back into my seat out of breath. My hair was a complete mess but I didn't care, I was too happy to care.

"Ugh that was amazing. I actually felt like I was in a movie" I said, adrenaline still high.

"And in that moment we were infinite" He said.

I just looked at him wanting to cry because of how I'd dreamt of finding someone like him. I use to think soulmates weren't real, that they seemed to be real in movies, because how could you find someone so perfectly fitted to you, that understands you better than yourself. As I looked at Timothee I knew he was mine.
