I placed my hands in position, ready to play the chords to the intro when Timothee appeared at the arch of the door. Removing my hands from the keys, I went to stand and go over to him.

"You don't have to get up" He said shaking his head.

I sat back down and stared at the keys.

"What were you playing?" He asked slowly walking over to me.

"Nothing" I said smiling up at him.

He sat beside me, looking down at the keys.

"Do you play?" I asked.

"Yeah a little" he said.

"Course you do"

He nudged my arm with his before placing his hands above the keys. A deep breath left his mouth.

As soon as he played the first chord my face dropped. I listened to make sure I was hearing it right and I was. The melody was clear and consuming the entire room, echoing off the walls and tunnelling through my ears into my mind. I didn't want to say anything until he'd finished. I just wanted to listen and watch as he concentrated so deeply on the piano.

Timothee's hands gently broke away from the keys.

"You remembered?" I said, my eyes in awe.

"Course I did. I learnt it not long after that day actually"

"You did?" My eyes full with adoration.

This wasn't just my favourite song in the entire world, it was the song I was listening to when me and Timothee first met. When he handed me my phone he saw the song I was listening to. I remember that day exactly.

"I think the foods almost ready" he smiled getting up.

Marta had made pasta and it was the best thing I'd ever tasted. We sat outside, the sun had set and stars began to appear in the sky.

"Come on" I said grabbing Timothee's hand.

He didn't say anything just got up and let me pull him along. Once we got to the place I laid down on the grass and Timothee did the same. Gazing up at the sky there was a perfect clear view of the stars.

"See that one there" I pointed up towards a twinkling light in the sky

"That's-"

"Sirius" he said before I could finish.

"The brightest star in the sky" he continued.

I turned my head to look at him, watching as he gazed in awe at the mass of stars. I couldn't help but smile because of how perfect this moment was. This whole trip had been amazing and I couldn't bare to think of leaving tomorrow.

"Isn't it crazy how we're looking at stars that could've died millions of years ago

"Isn't it crazy how we're looking at stars that could've died millions of years ago. So we're actually looking into the past" I said.

"And imagine all the impossible but possible things out there right now. All the things that are undiscovered and may never be discovered" I went on feeling as though I was surrounded by stars.

I noticed Timothee's head turn towards me. He stared at me for a while.

"What?" I said in whiny voice.

"I just love listening to you explain things"

He turned his head back and we laid there in silence for a few minutes.

"Timothee" I said, watching his eyes scan the night sky.

"Yeah"

"Do you know how much I love you?" As soon as those words left my mouth, Timothee turned his head back towards me. His curly hair draped across the grass, some pieces laying on his face.

"Course I do" he said.

"But I don't just love you though, it's more than that. I adore every single thing about you. How passionate you are about your work. How completely and heartbreakingly selfless you are. How you seem to always know what I'm thinking and still love me even when I don't tell you. I want you to know because I'm not that good at expressing how I feel. I want you to know how important you are to me"

His eyes stayed locked on mine the entire time, fully soaking in every word. Another thing I loved about him, he always listened so intently to everything I said. He reached his hand to my face and rubbed his thumb against my cheek before leaning in to kiss me.

"You're a sky full of stars" he whispered as our lips parted.

And we laid there under the sea of constellations until I yearned for the comfort of a bed.

Waking up the next morning was a bittersweet feeling because today was our last day. We were leaving later tonight and I was torn on how I felt. Half of me wanted to stay in this dream like alternate reality and the other half was looking forward to being back in my apartment and the studio.

I was deep into the pages of a book while taking occasional sips of coffee.

"So what do you wanna do today?" Timothee said sat across from me.

"Uh yeah" my face still looking at the crinkled pages.

Timothee laughed and I sprang back into reality.

"Sorry...what did you say?" I said.

"What do you wanna do today?" He smiled before taking a bite out of a peach.

"I want to swim and sunbath and dwell on the fact we're leaving today" I said turning the page.

"Well aren't we the optimist"

"I've always hated going home, from a holiday"

"Holiday" he mocked in a British accent.

I frowned at him knowing I could never do a decent American accent to be able to mock him back.

He got up and went inside while I continued reading. I think I'd read two more chapters before deciding to go change into swimwear.

"Ciao" I said to Marta putting my hand up as I walked through the kitchen.

"Ciao Lucie" Marta replied.

I walked up to the room my mind somewhere else as it usually was. Slipping on my bikini and layering over a pair of shorts, I grabbed a towel and head back down towards the pool.

Grabbing my book, phone and earphones, I placed them by the pool and was about to go for a swim when I noticed a path over by one of the peach trees. Me bring me couldn't not go down it.
