"Hey Mads?" I shouted from my bedroom.

"Yeah?" She shouted back from the kitchen.

"Do you wanna go out tonight?"

"Stupid question"

I came out my room after trying to find my favourite oversized comfy sweatshirt.

"Do you know any good places?" Hoping she knew.

"Yeah I've been to a few" She said while cooking some pasta for the both of us.

"No way" I said while looking at my phone.

"What?"

"They're doing a Euphoria themed night at one of the clubs. We have to go" I squealed.

"Of course we do" Mads replying just as excited.

"You should be Cassie" I said.

"And you should be Rue"

We ate and then got ready to go out. I searched frantically for something to wear. Usually I dressed quite casual but since I was going as Rue, it worked.

Somehow I ended up finding an outfit similar to one Rue wore, only mine was a different colour. I put on a dark blue satin tie front top that was cropped with a bralette underneath, pairing it it with dark blue ripped denim jeans and my black converse. I had similar hair to Zendaya so I didn't need to do anything to it. Then came the fun part.

Maddy came back over to mine after she found an outfit.

"Oh my god you nailed the outfit" She wore a white cropped tee with rhinestones shaping a heart and a baby pink denim jacket and skirt.

"So did you. Now let's get to the best part"

We both sat on the floor by the window in my bedroom, makeup spread all over the floor. I recreated one of Rue's makeup looks, placing stars and glitter over my eyelids messily.

"Can help me put these on?"

"Yeah course"

I placed tiny rhinestones underlining her eyes which took longer than I thought.

"Ok I think that's it" Hoping they weren't about to fall off.

We stood and looked in the mirror then smiled and squealed like school girls. Then we took a few pictures on my Polaroid camera before heading out.

We held hands as we walked down the street. God how I loved being able to just walk down a street without being overly judged. Back at home most people frowned at anyone who looked out of place, but in New York I could be whoever I wanted without fear of judgement.

"Oh shit" I said nearly at the club.

"What?" Mads looked worried.

"I forgot, I'm not legal age here. What if they ID me?"

Maddy turned 21 a few months ago so she was fine but I had a few weeks left.

"They won't. Trust me they never check" She assured me.

So we got in line. I tried not to look nervous and prayed that they just let us in.

"ID please" The guy at the door said to someone in front.

I started panicking but just decided to play it cool and for some reason he let us both in.

"We made it" Mads grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bar.

I ordered a Malibu and coke, my favourite drink, and Maddy ordered a vodka soda. My phone buzzed in my pocket and when I looked at the screen it was Timothee asking how today went.

"Let me guess Timothee?" She smiled.

"How'd you know?"

"Um your face. Your eyes lit up when you looked at your phone" She laughed.

"He's just asking how today was?"

I answered back saying I'd tell him properly about it in person because it was easier and that I was out with Maddy.

"OH MY GOD" Maddy screamed.

Mount Everest came on and we ran up to the dance floor with everyone else. I imagined as though this moment was happening in slow motion. It honestly felt as though I was in the show itself.

The Euphoria soundtrack played throughout the entire night and I'd had a lot of drinks. I started ordering random drinks I'd never heard of and most of them tasted disgusting.

"M-m addy I'm...I'm toilet" and before she could answer I ran to the bathroom and threw up three times.

As I sat by the toilet I started laughing for absolutely no reason. I went over to the sink, drank some water wiping my face with my hand, and walked back out.

"Hey Luce we're you been" Maddy slurred though seemed more alert than me.

"Toilet" Not having the energy to form a sentence.

I started feeling sick again but my legs felt foreign like I didn't know how to work them properly.

"Ma-ds...I don't feel g...good" I said before blacking out.

The next thing I knew someone was helping me up. Whoever it was felt familiar and gentle. But I could hardly open my eyes before I'd been carried out the club. Fresh cool air felt soothing on my face almost as though the air inside was toxic and my lungs had now been relieved.

"Luce are you ok?" A familiar voice sang in my ear.

But I couldn't answer, I couldn't even hold my head up properly, I just wanted to lay down.

I don't remember how but I ended up on a bed. All I knew is this wasn't my bed or room and I was still drunk. I got up and walked out the door, stumbling and holding my head as the ground seemed to swirl underneath my feet.

I felt soft hands latch onto my arms as I fell onto the couch that somehow appeared out of nowhere. I knew it was Timothee by the way his skin felt in mine and how gently he held my arms.

"I'm...I'm sorry" I said.

"Here" he placed me on the couch beside him and I figured he'd took the couch letting me sleep on his bed.

I reached my hands to his head and brushed my hands through his hair messing it up. Then I put my arms around him and leant into him. Why did I always resort to a hug. I guess because it was the one thing that gave me so much comfort while feeling safe and loved at the same time.

Timothee wrapped his arms around me, I could feel his hands on my back. I wanted to just stay like this until I fell asleep.

"Timothee?" I said my face in his neck.

"Yeah"

"Promise you'll never leave me"

He didn't answer straight away probably because he wasn't expecting me to say that.

"Never" He replied.
