You looked at Bruno in surprise when a bang suddenly sounded from outside. "What was that?" You whispered, getting a little freaked out.

Bruno shrugged and you hopped of his lap. You walked over to the painting and peered through. On the other side you looked across the table and through the door of the room.

Your heart slowed down when you saw it was just Pepa. You walked back over to Bruno and kissed his forehead. "Be right back." You said with a smile.

He got up and grinned, blushing a bit. "Okay but I'm going where you are!" He said. You let smile grew a bit as you lead his back through the passage. You peeked out of a crack through the end painting and knocked on it a few times.

"Knock, knock, knock." You said, so you could tell if anybody who was out of sight would react. Bruno knocked on the wall and repeated your words.

You pushed the painting open and you both slid out on the ground. You rushed to the stairs, getting worried as Pepa's cloud grew darker.

"Pepa calm down!" You called, half way down the stairs already. Pepa looked over to you and the cloud instantly cleared.

"Y/n!! You're alive! I was so scared for you!!" She yelled, running up to you and wrapping her arms around you tightly. "OW!" You shouted out as she pushed into your broken arm.

Julieta suddenly came rushing out of the kitchen holding a couple arepas. "Y/n!?" She yelled, running up and taking your hand gently.

"Thank goodness you're okay!" She said, noticing your arm and handing you an arepa. "We'll mostly okay." You grinned and are the arepa, feeling your arms instantly get better.

"Well I'm back and safe, I also brought back a new family to join Encanto!" You said with a smile. Julieta grinned back and wrapped you in her own hug now that your arm was healed.

"Listen Bruno and I were hanging out so I better get back to him." You said, looking over your shoulder and at Bruno who waved awkwardly.

Pepa and Julieta giggled and let go of you. "Yeah yeah, you two go and 'hang out'!" Pepa said with a goofy grin. Julieta nodded and shooed you away.

Your eyes went a bit wider in surprise but you walked over to a Bruno and took his hand. Julieta and Pepa both giggled again behind you.

"Well bye now!!" Pepa called, as Julieta led her away by the hand. You grinned at your two friends and turned back to Bruno.

You jumped a little as a rat ran out of his sleeve and up onto your shoulder. "What's this ones name?" You asked, patting the rats head with your finger.

"I call that one, rat." Bruno said bluntly. "Oh... rat." You repeated in slight confusion.  Bruno nodded and picked up the rat off your shoulder and it crawled back into his sleeve. 

You both headed back upstairs and instead of turning to the painting Bruno walked towards somewhere else.

He stopped in front of his room and held out his hand. You grinned and took it. He led you into the room and you both poked your heads through the falling veil of sand.

"You know what I'm about to do, don't you?" You asked with a growing smirk. Bruno sighed as you jumped forward, dragging you both down the hill in a frenzy of screaming and laughing.

Most of the screaming coming from Bruno of course.

You both landed at the bottom, laying on the floor facing each other. "Yeah well that hurt." Bruno grunted with a smile. You laughed and nodded.

Your eyes skimmed across Bruno's face and you leant over to kiss the tip of his nose. Bruno smiled and pulled you closer to him.

He kissed you softly on the cheek and you laid your head down with a smile. "So are we going to go for a climb or what?" You asked, messing up Bruno's hair.

Bruno rolled his eyes as you sat up. "Oh come on Y/n, every time we get close to having a moment something interrupts us or you just swerve away!" Bruno said, crossing his arms.

You pressed your lips together and shrugged.  "Well, you know I love you now why don't we-!" Yo I began before Bruno cut you off. "I know you love me, but why can't you show it more?" He asked.

You frowned crossly. "Well I'm just awkward as fuck!!" You retorted. Bruno laughed and pulled you to him. Both of your stomachs were pressed together and your eyebrows shot up in surprise.

He leant into you and pressed your lips together. You stiffened for a moment before sinking into his kiss. You both fell into a rhythm, as your arms rested over his shoulders. 
You broke apart and Bruno smiled in a shy way. "See, not so hard." He said. You smiled back, still a bright shade of red.

"Well, we should definitely do it more often then." You replied, moving a curl away from Bruno's face. You stepped back and smirked.

"First you to the top wins!!" You yelled, suddenly dashing off to the stairs.

"Oh you are so on!"

(Sorry for how long these chapters are taking lately! I'm trying to keep updates on TikTok too and one of my videos somehow already has over 4000 views!)
