(This is a small one shot episode for Pepa! I wanted to go through how I think she has been living throughout this story in her mind!)

I took Julieta'a hand who stood in the middle of me and Bruno as we walked up the stair case to our Mama.

My Mama took us up one by one to receive special gifts. I quivered in anticipation as she called me up first. I stepped forward and placed my hands on the candle and promised to serve our community and use my gift for good.

I walked over to the door on the far left and reached out to the handle, trembling with excitement. I grabbed the handle and and the door flowed bright, making me step back in surprise.

I suddenly appeared on the door, decorated with rain and sunshine. I beamed and along with me the sun did too. Next Bruno received his gift and after him Julieta did.

The sky soon grew darker but the moon shined brightly and the stars glistened overhead as I played with Julieta downstairs. After not so long Y/n and Bruno joined us to tell us that Bruno could see the future!

Everything was prefect for a while until Y/n's parents said they had to leave Encanto for a long time. I had been devastated, it poured down rain, flooding the streets of the town, thunder boomed overhead. I didn't know why I couldn't control the rain and it didn't help my mood. Y/n ended up making me feel a bit better about it, causing the rain to clear up into a heavy drizzle.

For the next few years I had to learn how to control my emotions so I didn't put the town at risk. I find myself being usually over energetic and even though it may not be good for Encanto to show my emotions I didn't want to bottle up how I feel.  My Mama and I came up with ways to calm myself down but sometimes it was hard.

One day I was outside looking at a flower I had found and Bruno ran up to me looking upset.
"Pepa! Pepa!" He yelled, stopping in front of me. "I had a vision of you getting hurt!" He cried out, his eyes watering.

" I get hurt!?" I asked suddenly terrified. Bruno nodded and squeezed his eyes shut before kicking me in the shin. "AY BRUNO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I screamed, the sky already thundering, rain starting to come down.

Bruno took a step back, starting to tremble. "I'M SORRY, I HAD TO!! IT WAS THE FUTURE!!" He yelled, running off crying in pathetic terror. I sat down and rubbed my shin.

A few years later when I was 13 I had learnt to control my emotions to cloud up around my head before it took place in the sky. That way I could know when I had to clam myself down.

By the time I was 15 I had channeled most of my anger, upset and worry into energy to burn. I liked to go on runs to distract myself. It was either that or other tasks likes cleaning the house, helping Julieta cook meals, go down to town and help other people.

It had been 11 years since Y/n had left Encanto and one day I had been out in town helping with somebodies gardening when I spotted 3 horses coming down the hill. On one of them I saw a familiar face but didn't think much of it, and left back to Casita.

Only about 10 minutes later I was walking across the path of Casitas front doors to grab a broom for a flour spill in the kitchen. The door suddenly swung open and someone about my age ran into me and knocked me back a step. I let out a yell of frustration.

"YOU- wait a second... Y/n!?" I asked in surprise. When they remained on the ground with a small nod I instantly brightened up, as a small cloud that had formed above my head cleared away.

I wrapped Y/n up into a hug and Julieta walked out of the kitchen after hearing the yelling, swiping flour off her apron. Soon enough we've all said our hellos and later that night we had dinner together in Casita.
