A really bad prophecy Pt.1

(Hello! I just spent 2 hours and $180 getting myself furniture for my new room in 40 degree weather so... why not just write immediately afterwards!?)

A slit of light invaded your eyes as you squinted. Amira stopped shaking you and you hit her over the head with a tired scowl. You were definitely not a morning person.

Amira glared at you and smacked you on the arm before running out of your room. "MUM! Y/N HIT MEEE!" She screeched as she ran. 

"Ah shit.." You mumbled, jumping out of your bed and running to your closet. "Y/N NO HITTING YOUR SISTER!" Your mama yelled from downstairs. You got changed as the sound of angry footsteps sounded on the stairs. You grabbed your bag and ran to the window.

You clambered over the edge in a rush, almost slipping. You climbed down the wall hastily as your mama burst into your room. "Y/n where are you hiding?" She asked the empty room as you dropped to the ground and ran off down the street.

You turned the corner and slowed down in relief. "Sorry mama, I'm just not in the mood to get punished today." You mumbled as you readjusted your bag strap. You turned another corner towards the market and crashed into Julieta, knocking her back onto the ground.

"Ah! Sorry Julieta I didn't see you!" You said with an apologetic smile. She shook her head, "It's okay, I was just going back to Casita." She said, getting up and taking a bite out of an arepa she'd been holding in a napkin.

"What we're you doing out?" You asked in curiosity. "Oh I was helping Señor Carlos." Julieta explained. "He'd fallen ill.. you know Mateo and Katia's Papa."

You nodded remembering your conversation with Mateo the other night about his Papa being sick. "Well I'm heading to the market." You said.

Julieta's face briefly flickered with the expression she makes when she gets guilty. "Hey maybe you can come up to Casita with me to drop off my apron, then we can go to the market together!" She suggested.

You were a tiny bit skeptical but you knew Julieta was the most trustworthy person you know so you agreed. "Sounds great!" You said. You both started walking up towards Casita when you paused.

You felt yourself turning around before you could stop yourself at the sight of your Mama out on the street looking extremely annoyed. "Ah.. let's go the other way.." You said with a nervous laugh.

"I see your trying to avoid your Mama." Julieta said with a teasing grin. You nodded as you both swerved down a different street, suddenly bumping into Felix.

"Why does this keep happening!?" You yelled in frustration. Felix, looking rather confused just shrugged. "Where are you two going?" He asked.

"To Casita to drop off my apron then we're heading to the market." Julieta said. You nodded along in silence and Felix grinned. "Great! I'll come too and Pepa and I will both go with you!"

"Ah that sounds great!" Julieta said, as she started leading us both towards Casita again. You all started discussing what you were planning on doing today and it turned out you all had pretty much no plans.

"We should all just spend the day together!" Felix suggested. Julieta nodded in agreement and you shrugged feeling a bit weirded out by all the running into people you've been doing today.

As you got to Casitas doors they swung open to reveal Pepa and Agustin standing together, whispering about something. "Oh Y/n, no idea you were coming today!" Pepa shouted in joy, racing up and hugging you. "Yep, not a clue." Agustin added, earning him a discreet elbow to the ribs by Julieta.

She did of course instantly hand him the half eaten arepa she'd taken a bite out of earlier. He took it gratefully as Pepa stepped back and hugged Felix too. Now that you thought about it, why didn't Pepa hug Felix first?

You shrugged off the unusual behaviour of your friends and turned to Pepa who had started to talk. "So are you guys heading to town? Agustin and I were about to go to the market for a day out!" She asked.

"Well I was just dropping my apron off up here but we are actually going there too." Julieta said as she left the room to hang up her apron in the kitchen. "Great so we'll all go together!" Agustin said with a smile.

You looked between the three others in the room with suspicion. Something was definitely off. Julieta came back into the room and snapped you back into focus as she grabbed your arm and led you outside.

"Wait! Guys, what about Bruno?" You asked, trying to turn back. "Oh Bruno is still asleep, it's best to not disturb him." Julieta explained quickly, as Agustin took your other arm. You put up little protest as they dragged you to the market.

"What stall should we look at first!?" Pepa asked with high enthusiasm. You looked around and suddenly saw a familiar flash of green.

"Hey guys I think I just saw Bruno?" You said in confusion, stepping forward. Pepa suddenly grabbed your arm and dragged you over to a jewellery stall. So I was thinking of getting these earrings!" She said, picking up a pair of golden earrings with sapphires placed into the gold.

"I..." You began, feeling even more flustered at all the things going on. Felix nodded from beside you. "They'd look perfect on you Mi Vida." He complemented, placing a hand on Pepa's shoulder. Pepa blushed and turned to the woman running the stall.

You frowned and looked around for Julieta and Agustin who'd suddenly disappeared. "Hey where did Agustin and Julieta go?" You asked, turning back to Felix and Pepa. Felix laughed and Pepa just shrugged whilst handing over some money to the stall owner.

You turned back around and saw Bruno through the crowd. "Hey guys I see Bruno!" You said loudly, taking to Pepa and Felix from over your shoulder. You felt a hand on your arm but you shrugged it off and started jogging towards Bruno.

Suddenly Agustin stepped in your path with a nervous laugh. You peered over his shoulder and caught glimpse of Julieta whisking Bruno away. "Y/n!" Agustin said with a grin. "Can you come and give me an opinion on an apron to get Julieta?" He asked.

You shook your head. "Sorry not right now Agustin!" You said, rushing past him and pushing through the crowd. Suddenly Pepa, Agustin and Felix were all running after you. "Y/n wait up! Where are you going!?" Pepa yelled, catching up to you.

"I'm going to Bruno!" You shouted back, running faster and overtaking Pepa. You pushed past a man in your way and earned an angry yell that you ignored. You turned the corner into the other section of the market and saw Julieta with a random boy in a brown hood.

"Where did Bruno go?" You asked breathlessly as you ran up to her. Julieta shoved the boy behind her back and laughed randomly. "Bruno!? Bruno who!?" She asked loudly.

The boy from behind her shoved free from her grip and shrugged his hood off. "Julieta why are you trying to hide me from Y/n?!" Bruno asked, standing there without the hood on.

You scowled at Julieta and walked over to Bruno. By then the others had stopped behind you and you scowled at them too. "What is up with you guys!?" You asked in frustration.

"We had no idea Bruno was here! NONE!" Agustin said, clearly losing the plot of what was happening. "There's no use not telling Y/n now." Pepa said, a small cloud appearing over her head.

"I agree." Julieta said. "Bruno had a vision this morning." She said in a gentle voice. You turned to Bruno with a slightly confused smile. "He has visions everyday!" You said.

Bruno pulled a vision out of his ruana and his face fell slightly. "Y/n." He started. "In the vision, you die."

(Sorry if you guys aren't in the mood for this cliff hanger but part two will be out in the next 24 hours!)
