The wedding

(Unfortunately my sister won our bet so I spent five hours doing stuff for her! But now I bring you a new chapter Lmao.)

You brushed off your clothes and took in a deep breath. In a few minutes you and Bruno would walk down the isle together. You looked at Julieta and Agustin who were behind you.

"I'm kind of nervous." You whispered. Julieta smiled gently. "It'll be fine Y/n!" She said as the music started to play.

You turned around and stepped out into the light to see Bruno doing the same, almost tripping on a loose stone. You snickered and walked to the middle of the isle.

You both smiled at each other before turning to walk up to the front. You could hear sniffles and young children trying to sit still as you walked and your nerves eased by the moment.

You both stopped at the front and faced each other with small grins. Señora Alma started going over the usual wedding stuff and you scanned the crowd .

(Also yes I WAS too lazy to write everything Señora Alma says also I don't really know half the stuff she would say and I AM too lazy to search it up!)

You smiled at your mama and papa in the front row and turned back to Bruno. "I do suppose you came up with your own vows." Señora Alma said.

You both nodded and Bruno opened his mouth to speak first. "I can't say that I was all too surprised when you proposed to me before I could propose to you. You've always been so brave and caring and I wouldn't change you at all no matter what." He said, taking your hands in his.

"I'll love you for as long as I live. I promise to be there for you no matter what. You're the perfect person for me." He said, and you smiled.

"My turn!" You said loudly. "Bruno Madrigal, you are the most ridiculous, clumsy, adorable, rat loving, kind, funny and caring person I know." You said and his usual small smile took place on his face.

"I wouldn't change anything about you either. And no matter what anybody else thinks I'll love you either way! Always remember that your visions may not be what people want to see but it's the person behind the visions that I want to see. Every single day." You said, squeezing his hands lightly.

Our ring bearer, who was Amira, came up carrying the rings with laser focus. By now she was 14 years old but still extremely annoying. Bruno slipped a ring onto your finger and you did the same.

"You may now kiss!" Señora Alma announced and you and Bruno pressed your lips together. You both pulled back with grins and looked out towards the crowd of people, on their feet and cheering. A rainbow shot across the sky overhead and upbeat music started to play.

You pulled Bruno down from the alter and spun around happily, calling for everybody to join in. Julieta, Felix, Pepa and Agustin all danced around you and your parents came up to hug you.

Suddenly a high pitched scream broke through the crowd and you turned to the direction it was coming from. You immediately ran towards the sound, ignoring Bruno's yell from behind you.

You dashed around a few random corners to see the girl from Bruno's vision trapped beneath a large dog. She already had several large cuts and you tackled the dog off of her without a second thought.

You fought blindly on the ground with the dog feeling it's claws across yours face. You winced as you felt blood trickling slowly down your cheek. The dog was soon on top of you and you kicked it off onto its back.

The dog whimpered and dashed off at the sudden impact of the kick. You sat up and groaned at the sight of your outfit covered in rips and blood. You turned to see about 10 people running around the corner to help you and the girl.

You heard Bruno's voice in your ear and you turned to see him holding you up against him looking worried. You turned to face him and he lifted a gentle hand up to hold your face. He looked at your cut and frowned in concern.

"I'll be okay." You reassured him. "Well I was going to say that this would be a great time for cake." Bruno said and you laughed. You walked back with the crowd of people, finding your eyes constantly looking over the the little girl who was being carried by Felix who had taken her from another man.

As you walked back to the area of the wedding you heard a collective gasp throughout the remaining crowd of people at the sight of you. You saw Julieta and Pepa pushing through the people walking in front of you to reach you.

"Seems like a good time for cake." Julieta muttered, upon seeing your face. "Wow so triplets really do have telepathic communication." You mumbled.

After the cake you felt a lot better and you went off in search of Felix who was probably still with the little girl. You pushed through a group of people and saw Julieta and Felix sitting with the girl who was finishing off a piece of cake.,

You walked over and the girls eyes went wider. "So can she talk?" You asked, looking towards your friends. "She can." Julieta said. You walked over and crouched down in front of the girl.

"You need to be more careful." You warned. The girl nodded. "Now what's your name?" You asked. "My name's Mariana." She said in a quiet voice.

"You were very strong when you saved me." She said in admiration. You felt your eyebrows crease and you looked the girl up and down. "Do you know where your parents are?" You asked.

"I don't have parents." She replied. You felt a hint of guilt at her words. "So you don't have a home?" You asked. "No." Mariana said.

"I... need to speak with Bruno." You said, standing up. You walked away and found Bruno talking with Pepa. "Hey Bruno can I steal you for a moment?"

Bruno nodded and you led him to a quieter area. "The girl from the vision, would it really be so bad if we adopted her?" You asked. Bruno looked a bit shocked.

"I mean... not necessarily but isn't it a bit too soon?" Bruno said with a nervous laugh. "Bruno this girl is living on the streets!" You hissed trying to keep quiet. Bruno scratched the back of his neck and looked around.

"I want to help her and I know the vision thinks this will be bad but I know that it will turn out fine in the end!" You whispered desperately. Bruno sighed.

"If you are really certain about it... I guess we can adopt her.." Bruno mumbled. You threw your arms around him and grinned into his shoulder. "Thank you." You whispered.

You let go and walked back to where the girl was sitting. "Hey Mariana." You said with a smile. Mariana smiled back, "Hello."

" I have some news." You started. "You're going to be adopted." Gasps from Julieta and Felix sounded from behind you and Mariana's face lit up in pure joy.

"So I guess you know what that means." You said. She nodded eagerly. "And the people adopting you is going to be me and Bruno." You said earning more gasps from Felix and Julieta.

You were about to keep talking when Julieta pulled you back and brought you into a huddle with herself and Felix.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" She whispered. "Seems pretty dumb." Felix agreed. You sighed. "Listen I know it may seem bad but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure Bruno's vision never happens!" You whisper back.

Julieta let you go and nodded, respecting your decision. You turned back to face Mariana "Tomorrow I will get the adoption papers and there will be no going back." You announced.

"Tomorrow one of Bruno's visions will come true."

(Okay I would just like to announce this story is nearing its end! I am thankful for everybody along the journey and I would like to say there will be at least three more chapters!)

(I would also like to say that after this I will be writing more Encanto stories but I just don't know what yet.)
