TW mentions of rape

Addison, Derek, Mark, Amelia, and Cristina are all sitting in an on call room just talking about Meredith.

"Guys, she's not okay! Did you see how tiny she is? I don't think he fed her at all!" Amelia said loudly.

"We saw Amelia. It's horrible what she clearly had to go through. We're all sad about it too." Derek said sadly.

"And her hair! He cut off all of her hair! Why did he have to do that to her?" Cristina said angrily. "It's so short! He took her identity away from her. I hate him so much! Why did he have to do any of this to Meredith???"

Mark sighs. "I don't know. I just feel so bad for her. When we were sitting outside the trauma room she was in, all we could hear was her sobbing nonstop and yelling not to touch her. And then she got quiet all of a sudden when she was sedated. That was so hard to hear." He shakes his head sadly.

"You think that's hard? Try being in the room with her while she's sobbing and yelling not to touch or hurt her. Like I'm glad I was there for her but wow that was insanely hard to see." Cristina says to Mark.

"We did a rape kit on her. It was clear she was raped. Her thighs had so many old and new bruises on them." Addie lets a few tears out. "The kit was able to tell us that she was raped so many times. And she miscarried also. Which is why she's so sick right now. We're treating the infection but thank God she was found when she was otherwise we would've lost her forever. The infection would've killed her if it was left untreated for just a few more days."

"I hate that guy so much! He needs to go through what he put Meredith through!" Amelia yells.

"I heard they shot him when he wouldn't let her go." Derek said. "But he's at another hospital. That would not be good for Meredith's sake if he was here. Or his. Because if I saw him here... I'd make sure he'd suffer for what he did to Meredith."

Meredith is sound asleep in her hospital bed. She's still sleeping off the effects of the sedation. She hasn't woken up yet since she was admitted. She slept through the night and it's now morning.

Meredith starts stirring around in her bed.

"No. Please stop!" She cries in her sleep. "No please don't Finn!"

She starts thrashing around in her bed which wakes her up. She is instantly terrified and unsure where she is. She thinks Finn is hiding nearby. She starts sobbing.

"He's going to get me! I need to leave now!" She sobs. She sees that she's attached to a lot of monitors and has IVs in her. There are so many wires attached to her. "No!"

A nurse runs into the room after she hears Meredith sobbing and freaking out.

Meredith sees her run in and screams in fear.

"No! Who are you? Don't touch me!"
"Meredith, you are okay. Please stay in bed." The nurse says trying to soothe her patient.

"No! You're just going to hurt me! I need to leave!" She rasps out while sobbing. "Finn sent you!"

Meredith tries to get out of bed and hide.

The nurse gets closer and puts her hands on Meredith to push her back down.

"No!! No! Don't hurt me! Please! I'll be good! Want Cristina!" Meredith starts to hyperventilate in fear.

The nurse pages Bailey 911.

"Sweetie, I need you to calm down. You are okay."

"Want Cristina!" Meredith wails. "Don't hurt me!"

The nurse tries to calm down Meredith but it's not working. Meredith won't stop sobbing and is terrified.

The nurse goes over to the door to see if Bailey is coming and Meredith gets out of bed and runs into the corner of her room. Meredith curls her body into a ball.

"Want Cristina." Meredith sobs while curled up in a ball in the corner of the room.

The nurse sees her run to the corner and tries to go near her but Meredith shrieks in fear.

"Don't hurt me! No!" Meredith yells while sobbing. "No! No! No!" She remains in a ball. "Want Cristina! Want Cristina! Want Cristina!"

The nurse sees she won't be able to calm down and is about to get another nurse to help her when all of a sudden Bailey rushes into the room.

"Sorry! Was scrubbing out from a surgery. What's going on?" Bailey looks over and sees Meredith in the corner of the room curled up into a ball sobbing.

The nurse quickly explains the situation while Bailey goes over to Meredith.

Meredith sees and starts sobbing louder if possible. "Don't touch me! Please!"

"Shhh, it's okay. It's just me, Meredith. It's Dr Bailey. I won't hurt you."

"Want Cristina." Meredith cries.

"Okay, I can page her." Bailey pages Cristina 911. "You are going to be just fine Meredith. Can we get you back into bed?"

Meredith shakes her head no.

"We all love you Meredith. No one is ever going to hurt you again. I promise you that. You didn't deserve any of what you went through. I'm so sorry that happened to you Mer." Bailey said trying to soothe Meredith.

Just then Cristina runs into the room. She sees Bailey on the floor next to Meredith.

"Hey Mer, you're okay." Cristina says realizing that Meredith is terrified and that's what the situation is. She thinks that Meredith must have just woken up and got really scared. "Did you just wake up?"

Meredith just cries and nods.

"Can Dr Bailey and I get you back into bed? You'll be a lot more comfortable than laying on the floor."

Meredith looks up at Cristina with tears streaming down her face. "I'm scared!"

"I know you are. But we won't hurt you. No one will ever hurt you again." Cristina tells her and Bailey nods.

"What if you get back into bed on your own? We won't touch you. Can you do it that way?" Cristina asks.

Meredith nods. She slowly stands up and gets back into her bed. She looks towards the door.

"You okay Mer?" Cristina asks once Meredith's cries finally start to die down.

"I'm scared!" She says softly.

"I know. But you won't be scared forever I promise." Cristina tells her.

"It's too bright in here!" Meredith says.

Cristina remembers the police officers telling them that Meredith was kept in complete darkness for the whole six months so she realizes that the lights in the hospital must be hurting her eyes.

"I can turn off these lights for you Mer. You have the natural light from outside anyways." She goes and turns off the lights.

"Thanks." Meredith whispers. "Can you stay in here with me please? I'm really scared."

"Of course. I'm not going anywhere."
