Sam, the cashier at the hardware store noticed something was off with the customer he last checked out. He just seemed very suspicious. Sam, being an empath, also got a very bad feeling from this man. The man's purchases were very strange and Sam felt concerned about this combination of items.

Once the suspicious man paid and left, Sam grabbed the store phone and quickly dialed 911.

"911, what is your emergency?" The 911 dispatcher asked.

"Hi, I work for a hardware store and I just had a customer come in and buy some suspicious items. I got a feeling that they would be used to kill someone. He bought rope, duck tape, and trash bags. I also heard him mutter 'she's done for, I'm finally free of her'. It was very quietly said but I definitely heard him say that."

"I will send officers to your location."

"Wait, one more thing. I also heard him say a name. He said 'bye Mer, nice to know you'. I remembered hearing about a missing person named Meredith Grey so I was wondering if this had anything to do with that."

Sam gives the hardware store's address to the dispatcher and she tells him officers will be there within the next ten minutes. Since he is the only person working, the dispatcher advises him to close the store so the police can investigate.

Sam closes the store and waits anxiously for the police to arrive. He has a feeling that this man is related to the Meredith Grey missing person case and hopes that it's not too late to save her.

The police arrive a few minutes later and Sam tells them what he told the 911 dispatcher. The police agree that it sounds suspicious.

"Do you have extra copies of receipts? We can call the credit card company and link his card to it and get a name."

"Yes, let me get you that receipt." Sam gives them the receipt and they call the credit card company.

After ten minutes he gets off the phone. "Okay, we have a name. Finn Dandridge. Do you have security cameras? I want to see if we can see what this man looks like. We have an image of the guy who has kidnapped Meredith Grey and I want to see if this is him or not." The officer asks.

"We do. I can show you them." Sam leads the officers to the back room and shows them where the security footage is kept. They access the footage and rewind it to the time that the man entered the store.

"Wait. Pause it." The officer says. The video pauses on the man's face. "That's the man who we saw in the video that was sent to Addison Montgomery. This is the man that has Meredith Grey."

"Oh my God. You need to save her! I heard him say he wanted to get rid of her!" Sam said anxiously.

"We will do everything we possibly can to save her." The police officers quickly leave and call for backup at Finn's address. They also call for an ambulance to meet them there. They know they need to get there soon as everything is pointing at Finn wanting to kill Meredith.

They drive to his house and get there a little while later. The officers go up to his front door and knock.

"Police! Open up!"

No answer.

They knock again but still no one comes to the door.

When no one comes, they force the door open. They enter the house and it is oddly quiet. They search the first floor but don't find anyone or anything.

"Hey, I think this door leads to the basement." They open the door and go downstairs. They enter the basement and find Finn trying to kill Meredith. They see Meredith all tied up and Finn on top of her trying to strangle her. They can see that she's struggling to breathe.

"POLICE! RELEASE THE GIRL AND PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM!"
