Tanjiro POV
Before Decarabian was fighting against Crealla at Decarabian Tower, Tanjiro and Anbai have arrive at the center of Mondstadt.
Tanjiro: So this is a tavern?
Anbai: ... Yes.
Inside was everyone looking at us with wide eyes.
Tanjiro: And I thought a talking goat was surprising.
Anbai: Did you just call me a goat?
I lied quickly.
Tanjiro: No.
Anbai: ...
We enter the tavern and felt uncomfortable as they look at us.
We quickly go to the counter where the bartender is.
Tanjiro: H-hello!
The bartender, red hair, orange eyes. His bewildered face looking at us.
Tanjiro: ...
Tanjiro: This is uncomfortable!
Bartender: Hi...
Tanjiro: ! Hello!
Bartender: Hi... But, are you guys foreigners?
Tanjiro/Anbai: Yes.
This got the bartender and everyone surprise.
Anbai: Excuse me, bartender, we are here for something.
This got the bartender attention towards Anbai.
Bartender: Something? In this city? I think you got the wrong kingdom if you were looking.
Anbai: Something related to Decarabian.
The bartender stop what he was doing and everyone look at us wide eyes.
The bartender put the glass down and stare at Anbai.
Bartender: Why do you want something that is related to our God.
Tanjiro: His voice... So this God is that bad huh? To be vexed by him.
I turn around to see the same face as the bartender, anger.
Tanjiro: Everyone vex their God...
Anbai: We're here because it's related to the barrier.
Bartender: Oh? And why's that?
Anbai: Because a certain someone *looks at me who was coughing* want to teach this God a lesson~
Noticing the gaze towards me, the bartender eyes widened.
Bartender: I see...
Then the bartender signal everyone in the room. Everyone nod and get up from their chairs and begun moving towards the back.
Tanjiro: What the?
Some close the blinds and move sign said 'open' to 'close.'
Tanjiro: What's happening?
Bartender: Follow.
The bartender enter the back so we follow him.
Inside the backroom was a basement. We saw the bartender enter the basement so we follow. When we reach the bottom of the stairs, we see is a long hallway.
Tanjiro: Do you know where we going?
Anbai: I don't know but be ready. We don't know if it's a trap.
I nod and grip my nichirin.
