As his hand connects Tanjiro's skin, he saw his hand go through him.

Giyu pull his hand back and Tanjiro open his eyes.

Tanjiro release a sigh of relief as his shoulder drop.

Giyu unsheathe his Nichirin.

Tanjiro unsheathe his sword.

Giyu breathe in as water form around his blade.
Giyu: You must also master Water Breathing like Hinokami Kagura.
Tanjiro: Got it!
Tanjiro breathe in and water forms around his blade.
Giyu: Good. Let's begin.
Giyu charge forward with his blade going for a horizontal slash.
Giyu: Water Breathing, First Form: Water Surface Slash!
Tanjiro react and block it, but notice something.
*splash*
His blade connects Guy's blade, but his blade pass through.
Tanjiro: His sword can be intangible!?
Tanjiro quickly move his head backward to dodge the intangible blade.
*whoosh*
He barely escape as only a few centimeters would connect.
Tanjiro kicked Giyu, but Giyu block it. Tanjiro use that chance to jump back.
Tanjiro: Your sword can be intangible, Giyu?
Giyu: So you noticed...
Tanjiro then sees the blade become translucent.
Giyu: My blade can be translucent and become intangible, making it impossible for you to block it or parry it.
Tanjiro: Can you can control with your will?
