So regarding to Wattpad's new policy that I just looked up...
Well I kinda disagree to it.
Fanfiction.net and AO3 have mature content in their site, but that didn't make them go make a new policy about it. They allow it because its creative freedom to writers to write whatever story they want.
By going this path, they restrict the creative freedom writers can write. And that'll affect the site negatively.
The mature tag will lose some of its relevance but really...
A lot of my favorite fanfics will be purged... and I don't know know where the authors will upload them on.
Forums.spacebattles.com? Fanfiction.net? AO3? or freaking Webnovel.com...
I don't know what future will Wattpad will have ahead but I can see a mass exodus of users moving to different sites.
But that's my opinion.
