GIGGLES FILLED THE AIR AS THE LOVE OF HIS LIVE happily chatted with a man. "thank you so much!" y/n exclaimed happily as her husband, obanai was staring from the distance, hiding behind a tree, as soon as he was finished with the tasked mission, he watched her every move. 

the man's face blushed as he nodded briefly, carrying the bag of groceries as the pregnant woman walked beside him silently, the both of them entered the serpent hashira's estate as y/n grabbed the bags before heading inside the house, she walked out to reveal that the man was gone, she pouted slightly before heading inside, shutting the door as she made her way towards her room. 

"what were you doing with her?" obanai asked as his eyes glowed dangerously, his snake hissed at the man as the man was pressed up agains the wall. "i didn't do anything with her, i promise," the man whimpered. "i was just helping her carrying her groceries," he said as obanai visibly relaxed before he glared at him warningly. "don't ever touch her again." the man quickly nodded as he ran away from the man quickly. 

as she was sitting on the edge of the bed, her peace and quite time was ruined by her raging husband, iguro obanai. "obanai! you're back from your mission!" y/n exclaimed brightly before she furrowed her brows. "what were you doing with him?" he asked, as his hands bawled into fists angrily. "i was talking with a man who helped me carry these bags!" y/n chirped happily as she stood up and walked towards iguro. 

iguro suddenly gripped on to her shoulders and slammed her against the wall, his face nearing hers. "you guys seemed so close to each other, are you sure you're not cheating on me?" he asked as his hands trailed down to his hands and squeezed it tightly. y/n shook her head in disbelief. "of course i wouldn't cheat! you're the only person i love, obanai!" y/n said softly as she tucked a strand of his black hair behind his ears. 

"you look so happy though.. i could never make you smile like that, what if you leave me for him? he was there for you when i wasn't," obanai started overthinking as y/n smiled softly before placing her forehead on his softly and placing her soft hands on his face. "hey, you're always here for me, that guy was just helping me out," she cooed silently as she soothed obanai, obanai's hand softly placed itself on her swollen stomach. "sorry, i was just paranoid," he muttered. 

"but from now on. you will not leave this estate unless i give you permission to," he warned with dangerous colorful eyes as his snake hissed at y/n warningly. "kaburamaru will be watching over you to make sure you won't escape here."

ever since that day, he became possessive and paranoid that she'll leave him for someone else. y/n wasn't allowed to get out of the estate at all, though, one day, y/n was eager to see the day as she managed to escape, kaburamaru hissed at her angrily. "but kaburamaru... i haven't seen the clear sky for a month now," y/n said sadly, making the snake feeling a bit guilty. it sighed before nodding. y/n happily walked around the estate as she looked down on the paths, playfully jumping on each pebble. 

"look! it's so fun isn't it kaburamaru? and the sky is so pretty too!" she said as she looked up at the sky and kaburamaru nodded, nuzzling himself on her cheeks lovingly as the both of them walked together peacefully till evening fell. y/n panted as she held her swollen stomach, she grimaced slightly. kaburamaru stared at her questioningly. "i'm tired!~" she panted before she turned and was greeted by a bump to someone. 

"obanai," y/n exclaimed brightly before a haori fell on her shoulders. "where have you been?" he asked with a glare. "i just want to see the sky!" y/n exclaimed brightly. obanai hugged her tightly in his arms as he sighed. "you scared me." 

"come here," obanai said as he leaned back and grabbed her hand and dragged her back to the estate as kaburamaru hid behind y/n, scared. as they entered obanai's estate, y/n saw that it was destroyed as slayers shook in fear in the presence of obanai. "what happened?" y/n asked in horror. "i was worried when you were gone," obanai said. "from now on. i'll really make sure you won't leave this place unless it's with me," his grip on her hand tightened, as he glanced at y/n who was shaken with horror. 

ever since then, obanai really stuck to his words and y/n felt a bit feared of him ever since that day, though obanai was very restricting, she loved him anyways, and she managed to have kaburamaru with her most of the time, since obanai couldn't trust the slayers enough.
