L/N Y/N WAS KNOWN TO BE A TERRIFYING LOOKING DEMON, though she was an absolute angel, she lives in a village full of kind people, and when their precious neighbor, y/n was turned into a demon, they were petrified, but when they realized that y/n refused to eat humans, they figured they'd hid her from the outside world so that demon slayers wouldn't come and hunt her down. 

however, it was too late, the demon slayer corps had caught her presence, and so ubuyashiki sent the flame pillar, alongside the sound pillar to investigate the scene. the both of them were running towards the village under the night sky. 

y/n was playing the biwa silently with an old villager who was very skilled in the biwa. "and then you play it like this," the old lady said as y/n followed her instructions. "this is very fun!" y/n exclaimed as the old woman nodded. "stop right there you demon!" a man with golden hair exclaimed brightly as the both of them prepared their blades and the old woman frown in displeasure. 

"miss, i would suggest you move a bit so i can kill this demon flamboyantly!" a man with white locks exclaimed as he steadied his blades. "what do you think you young men are doing?" the old woman scolded. "this is no demon, she doesn't even eat a single human," the woman defended. "so, go now, you're bothering my biwa lessons," she hissed angrily before turning to y/n. "so dear, now you go like this," the woman said as she strummed the biwa and y/n happily followed. the two slayers looked at each other. 

"what do we do now?" the man with golden hair asked the one with white hair. the white haired man shrugged. "she really seems to be innocent, though i'm not sure!" the white haired man exclaimed. "i agree with you tengen-san!" the golden-haired exclaimed and nodded. "so, what should we do, kyojuro-san?" tengen asked as he stared at the demon. 

a villager happened to hum in amusement before he noticed the slayers, he immediately dashed in front of y/n and blinked repeatedly at the slayers. "hi! how may i help you?" he said as he tried to cover y/n from their view. "you know that we know that there is a demon behind you, right?" tengen asked. 

"we can explain! this demon right here is y/n, she has been turned into a demon when she was attacked by one when she was fetching some mushrooms when she went back to her place, she didn't attack us like what demons usually do, so please have mercy on her! she really did nothing wrong!" the villager exclaimed. "another one," kyojuro said happily. "perhaps it is true!" tengen exclaimed.

though tengen despised demons, he felt interested in knowing about y/n more. "alright then! i guess we'll just dismiss this as a harmless report to ubuyashiki-sama," kyojuro exclaimed happily. the villagers sighed in relief as the both of them started walking away. 

though, ever since that day, tengen had been visiting the demon frequently, nobody knows why, but he just got a feeling like he needed to be with her, and the demon happily accepted his presence. ubuyashiki was rather surprised about the feedback though, he never sent another slayer to that village ever again. 

y/n laid her head on his shoulders as she knitted a scarf. she hummed silently as tengen raised a brow. "who's that for, y/n?" he asked as he pointed at the scarf. "for someone," she cheered happily before he raised a brow, something inside him felt a bit weird, knowing that she was going to give a gift to someone. "what does it feel like to be a demon?" tengen asked as y/n smiled. "it's fun, especially when people don't run away," y/n smiled happily as tengen hummed in amusement. 

her melodic voice always seems to sooth the hashira, and y/n knows this very well. she finished kniting the scarf as tengen looked away before feeling something soft around his neck. "it's for you," she smiled as tengen felt a blush coating his cheeks. "thank you," he smiled as y/n smiled back at him.
