My life continued, kabi-kabilang fashion show yung pinuntahan ko, had no gap days for my brand shoots, somewhat my life revolved around the industry.

"Ninang," Kale greeted me when I visited them, he immediately run towards me, para mag-pantay kami ay yumuko ako at tinanggap yung yakap niya.

"I miss you," I rubbed his back. "Were you behave? Nonong said you're not," I teased him.

"I was," the kid even swore with his hand. Lumapit naman si Chloe at Dom. "Did you buy me a gift?"

"Yes, I did," I smiled. "Wait for it to be delivered."

He jumped with extreme happiness. "Is it big?"

"Yes, life-size," I nodded. Feeling ko kay Dom at kay Gerard niya nakuha yung ka-adikan niya sa marvel.

"You guys should stop spoiling him," Chloe muttered, hands on her waist.

"Just let us, wala naman kaming gagastusan," sabi ni Dom. "Yung kambal din naman nila Louisse spoiled eh."

"Parating ba sila?" tanong ko.

"Kakauwi lang nila kahapon," sabi ni Chloe. "They were supposed to wait for you, kaso may emergency ata sa hospital."

Kinuha naman ni manang yung maleta ko, all of us have our own room in Chloe's house, may time pa ngang mas madalas ako sa LA kaysa sa New York. Some shoots happened nearby, kaya umuuwi ako sa kanila.

I just took a nap, pero dahil sa puyat ay umaga na ako nagising. Agad akong lumabas ng kwarto, I wore my sports bra and legging because Dom and I made it a routine to run around the village as an exercise.   

Noong nasa labas na ako ay napako yung mata ko sa pamilyar na mukhang kasama nila, Justine was having breakfast with them.

"Hi," a voice caught my attention, pagtingin ko ay nakaupo pala sa couch si Flynn. "I was calling you last night, hindi ka sumasagot. I texted Wendy, nandito ka raw."

Habang nagsasalita siya ay napapatingin ako kay Justine na seryoso ring nakatuon ang attensiyon sa akin. O feeling ko lang, kasi lahat naman sila ay nakatingin sa amin ni Flynn.

Flynn handed me a bouquet of tulips. "Happy birthday, angel," he smiled then reached for my elbow. Agad niya akong niyakap, I couldn't even think straight. "I missed you," he kissed my temple.

Narinig ko yung pag-ubo ni Dom, wow, thanks for that brother!

"Thank you," I smiled. "Kanina ka pa? I'm supposed to just take a nap, kaso nakatulog na ako. I'm sorry."

"It's fine," he was genuinely smiling the whole time, his right hand even caressed my face. "Wanna go somewhere?"

"Where are you staying?"

"Hotel, magja-jogging ka?"

I nodded. "Kumain kana?"

Umiling siya. "Can you wait? I'll just change so we can exercise, malapit lang yung hotel."

Tumango na lang ako, hinatid ko siya hanggang sa labas. Pagbalik ko ay may cake ng hawak si Chloe.

"Kale sing for ninang," she said. Ganado naman yung anak niya, kahit si Dom at Justine ay kumakanta. What a way to celebrate my morning, and my birthday.

"Happy birthday, Ninang," Kale hugged me tight. "I love you," he said, but my eyes were fixated with Justine's stare.

"I love you, too," I said. I blew the cake awkwardly, how long has it been? Three years without seeing each other this close? Well, ako nakita ko siya last year, sa hospital. Pero siya ngayon lang.
